「Werona Cottage was the most beautiful place to stay to wind down and relax after a difficult few months. The fit out and choice of fixtures is very considered. Everything is well thought out, classic, stylish and private. The location is perfect! Unfortunately the famous pub was closed for renovation. I would definitely recommend this beautifully equiped little cottage. I can't wait to stay again.」

The king bed was very comfortable, the shower hot, and the heating options meant we could escape the outside chill. 「There was no reception and no wifi available despite what the listing says. We had to book another place as I needed to check into work. Owner was very dismissive of the problem Also he sent us the wrong pin so sent us on a 30 minute round trip. Spider webs and hair were in the shower/bedroom and there’s no exhaust fan in the bathroom. Couldn’t open the window as so many spiders just outside the window 」

The space was very clean, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom had a great shower with lots of hot water and my granddaughter enjoyed the seperate bath each of our 4 nights. It rained our entire time and I have to sincerely thank our host, Lyndall, who put fresh large towels across our entrance each day knowing that 2 people with wet shoes and a dog with 4 wet paws needed to get in and dry off. 「We stayed there for one night and the house was amazing!! We enjoyed the great views, spa, starry night sky, and saw a lot of wildlife including kangaroos and possums! The house was so cute and cozy. The only thing was the cleaning wasn’t adequate before we arrived, as we saw small pieces of rubbish around the property (such as snack packages/caps from containers, hair pins, crusts of food left behind in the dining area/near outdoor spa/bathrooms). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to visit...
