Misleading property in a lovely resort

This property should not be advertised for rent. It is in need of a renovation as it is unkempt and shabby. We arrived to a place that had not been professionally cleaned, the linen was clean( we think?) but stained. The beds were old and uncomfortable. The kitchen supplies were old and needed to be replaced. The place was booked to sleep 6. The kitchen had 1 glass, 3 teaspoons, dirty tea towels, no oven gloves and minimal dishes to cook dinner. The dishwasher and range hood were dirty. Outside on the patio there were 3 damaged chairs! We complained to management ( Geographe Holiday Homes) and someone arrived with 4 dirty office chairs for us to sit on! After 11 emails, a person arrived with chocolates and champagne and new supplies from Kmart including 6 new pillows. Finally we were offered a 30% refund for our pain and suffering which was supposed to be a fun family reunion with interstate and overseas guests. Cape View resort is lovely, pool, gym and a stroll to the beach. There is a caretaker who takes care of the place BUT you have to stay in this dingy villa. The excuse, oh they have let the owners know and they have not responded to their requests. Angry beyond words! I will be naming and shaming on social media!

Escape to Cape 28

Lovely home in great location for families, as close to lots of family activities. Kids loved small heated pool, definitely a must with young children.

Some problems

It was comfortable, but the airconditioner in lounge didnt work. Contacted office and they never fixed it. There were no keys to unlock windows had to contact office. Needed a few more implements, no colander, grater handle broken. Carpets in front spare room had lots of stains on.

Great Girls Trip

Was a great rental, ideal spot to see Dunsborough, Busselton and the wine region. Very clean and quiet. Very responsive to any queries. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again!
