The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Start dishwasher if you have dirty dishes. Dishwasher soap is provided under sink. Please remove all your trash from house and place in large trashcan located in garage.
Place used towels in washing machine along with soap that's provided, start machine. The water is already turned on for the machine. Remove sheets from beds that you used and leave at foot of bed.
Please return all items, furniture & bedding to room they were in if you felt it necessary to move things during your stay. If you used the kayaks, please return to the rack prior to your departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Very nicely kept home, with fun all around... kayaks and floats for the lake, corn hole, and after dark, a nice TV for movie night. We cooked in the well-equipped kitchen.Check-in went without a hitch, and the hosts responded promptly to questions prior to our arrival.

Comfortable Basic and Clean

We enjoyed our stay here my only complaint is there is not a hot tub on site as advertised. There is a very old juccuzi bath tub in the main bathroom. We were looking forward to a hot tub experience after a day of watersports on the lake. Otherwise, everything is as advertised, clean, neat, and orderly. Would stay again.

Great house, lake front, and large level yard!

Earl, and his wife communicated promptly with no issues. The house was clean, well maintained and the new dock works great if you bring a boat. The big plus with this property compared to others around the lake is they have a large flat yard with plenty of parking and still a private staircase down to the lake. Hard to find around Watauga Lake.

Beautiful home

We enjoyed the home. It has been remodeled and was very clean. There was plenty of room for our family. I loved that the homeowners provide games like corn hole and board games, outside chairs, etc. I knew there were steps to the lake but just be aware that it’s not an easy trek if you have bad knees (or like me who recently had foot surgery). We went to Elizabethton to see the covered bridge. We rented a boat and enjoyed the lake and the time we spent together. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home!
