「Had a whole holiday cottage to myself for the price of a hotel room. Really generous and varied breakfast provisions, with spacious kitchen and dining area to enjoy it in. With a washing machine and airer in the property, I was able to get a load of washing done overnight, as the cottage was really warm. The only negative was the WiFi, which I found very poor, and phone signal is limited too.」

「Lovely cottage, I was unsure when booking as there wasn’t photos of all the rooms, however they were all great. The location was perfect, right by The Roaches, great for walks from the door step and close by to other amazing locations in the Peak District. Being so close to the tea rooms was convenient for lunch, and we were near enough to the town of Leek for shops for supplies. Comfortable beds, and the whole place was clean and tidy. 「Very nice cottage just minutes from pedestrian entrance to chatsworth house. Unfortunately our 2 dogs arent used to people outside walking by and people walk by from 5am which meant we got a barking symphony very regularly! The dogs loved the park and the peaks. 「We had a cosy week in the cottage. Everything was as described. The cottage is perfect for a little family and has everything you need. 「We loved everything about this place. It's in a fantastic rural setting, and is very comfortable. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Outside the gardens are lovely, and there are views of fields and trees on both sides. The host provided lots of interesting information about the local area, and there were walks from the doorstep. This is a great location for exploring the Peak District.」

「Ideal location for exploring the Peak district Property was spotless, nicely furnished, well equipped kitchen. Availability of Netflix very nice touch. Property advertised for up to 10, but would think it could be a bit of a squeeze unless several of party were small children. There were 6 of us and it was perfect size」

「Het verblijf was prima. Er was alleen aangegeven via FEWO dat alles begane grond was, dit bleek niet het geval. Voor mensen met een beperking dus erg lastig. Parkeerplaats aanwezig maar zeer lastig in en uitrijden. Het café de Red Lion is een aanrader. Goed eten en een lekker biertje/wijntje tegen redelijke prijzen.」

「The place was quite small and very old fashioned, advertised as having a kitchen but that was outside and round a corner and none of the appliances worked and it was ill-equipped, I would not stay here and again and would not recommend it to anyone. Also quite expensive considering the standard」

「We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again」

「The property was as described and was clean and comfortable and in a good location. Check in was easy. However this is the only property I have EVER stayed in that didnt provide any tea coffee milk etc. Even budget hotels do this. It made the place seem unwelcoming and meant we hsd nothing to drink on arrival after a long journey. The same applies to the minute amount of hand soap provided. Also, a bin bag would have been useful. Parking was ok but was on the street and at a distance...fine...
