“Everything about this hotel was perfect. Easy parking, beautiful grounds, lovely clean room with complimentary drinks, fridge, and tea & coffee making facilities. Bath and shower, comfortable beds; lovely, helpful staff. Tasty breakfast, everything you could want, and excellent evening meals. Dogs were allowed, but not in the main house. They didn't really bother us, just a few "yappy" ones.

“3 night stay over Easter. Pub was clean and comfortable although bed mattress was very firm which meant disturbed sleep for stay. Owners very welcoming. Breakfast was 8-9am which I felt was a little early as we usually like to have a lazy wake up without having to have alarm on so wasnt as relaxing as we would have liked. Breakfast was good but simple so would not have wanted to stay any longer. 1 or 2 nights at the most. No fruit or alternatives and not asked if we preferred eggs cooked……

“Excellent situation and well-presented property.
The check in process lacked sufficient room because of the placement of loose chairs. We were allocated one of very few rooms which required us to go up or down a flight of stairs to reach. As a couple approaching 80 years old this was not ideal.
The service at breakfast was appalling. The person who showed us to our table took our drinks order and on one of the 4 days we stayed it took 3 requests and 45 minutes for us to receive a pot of tea and……
