「The apartment had everything necessary, except a working elevator. As we were on an extended tour, we had three suitcases which had to be carried up many, many flights of stairs. We tried to fit a key into a lock on a door which we later learned was a "decorative", non-working knob. The decor was lovely, the location was ideal, and I am sure if we were hikers, this apartment would have been a fine fit, but not for old people or people with heavy luggage.」

「The entrance and hallway was dirty, dank, and cold. This sadly lent to a bad impression.However then when we walked into the unit it was warm and tastefully done. It was good to have the powder room in addition to the full bath. However the side glass door on the tub still leaked, even though we did not touch it (the note said it be sure not to). 「We decided to visit Buxton during our free days in the UK. What a treat. We loved the apartment. It was perfect for our needs and in a great location. Communication with Lorainne was OUTSTANDING and she made it very easy for us. We enjoyed getting out to do a bit of hiking and then spent both of our nights enjoying the amazing food and drink at The Old Sun inn. So wonderful there and a short walk from the apartment. 「Good communication with host. Ease of getting in locating key etc very easy. Location superb few minutes walk from anything ie coffe shops cafes restraunts and Buxtons to see places and general food shopping. Car park as advised and again just a short walk away.
