“Everything about my hotel stay was what I expected. The room/hotel facility was identical to the beautiful pictures I viewed online. Plus every single staff member I came across was professional. I felt comfortable my entire visit. I will be reserving again the near future.”

“We moved from the area over 25 years ago. We were coming back for Easter and read some of the reviews and was skeptical of staying. We walked in and were greeted with two very friendly staff. The room was clean and we loved the larger fridge. We did not eat at the breakfast buffet only because we were off to a family members house for breakfast on Easter but my husband got coffee and said it looked good. Checking out we had another two very friendly staff members. I would stay there again……

“Kids running around the pool area almost unsupervised. Also kids running through the hallways loud 10-11 pm at night”

“As a world traveler and a professional clinician, I've never felt so unwelcome or judged. Front staff had horrible attitude. Brutal service, like I was doing the most severe injustice by checking in and paying them. Judged because I had a service dog. The room was very broken down. Truly disappointed. ”

“The grounds need attention. The entire back side was dirty needs yard work. The Homewood Hitel next door was an eyesore. Something going on because the hotel seemed closed down but k9 cars and some dressed up people wandering around. Strange atmosphere. ”

“hotel is conveniently located to the Capital Theater, an easy walk. The lobby and room was spacious, clean. and good repair. Our room only had 1 desk chair and it would have nice to have more seating besides the beds. When we booked the room, we didn't realize that the rooftop bar is indoor/outdoor and not open in mid-April. The onsite restaurant was nice but kitchen was closed at 10pm on a Friday when got back from the theater. ”

“Air conditioner worked great, it was a nice 80° in Michigan in April. The parking lot could have been more luminous.”

“Coffee maker didn't have the coffee tray and the replacement i asked for didn't fit. The TV clicker looked like it had never been cleaned. The bathroom floor had crud around the edges. Behind the nightstand (i needed the outlet) was a plastic fork and really dusty. That outlet was the only one that was tight enough to hold a plug in. One room that was visible from the front first floor parking lot had shredded curtains hanging. The room smelled like old smoke. ”

“Parking lot had many potholes and there was not enough parking for the number of guests. We were notified that the elevator was not working on Thursday and that we could cancel our stay. That was not an option considering we were staying in Fenton due to a bowling tournament. ”
