First trip to Costa Rica- not our last!

This home was perfectly appointed and HUGE for just 5 of us! It had everything we needed and was the perfect location to enjoy Reserva Conchal and all of its amenities plus explore Playa Flamingo, Playa Potrero and Tamarindo Beaches as well other excursions ! The Rental company was wonderful to work with and so communicative and helpful! It would be a dream to return to this home!

We loved staying at Villa Carao 3! The house is very nice and the perfect location in Reserva Conchal, and plenty of space for our family of 4. It easily would have fit another family if kids shared a room. The property managers/owners were extremely helpful when high winds caused a small power outage late one night. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Villa Carao 3.

Amazing property in the heart of Reserva Conchal

House was amazing and the check in process was seamless. We had one small issue where we didn’t have hot water the first day but the property manager sorted it out quickly and we were good to go for the remainder of the time there. The home is on the 10th green of the golf course which also provides a quick shortcut to the beach club if you have a golf cart to get around the property. Overall this place was amazing and inwould highly recommend it if you stay within Reserva Conchal

Paradise!

We stayed in this villa 3 times in 2018. We absolutely love it. Plenty of space for everyone and the option of staying home in your own pool or going down to the resident's pool. Everything is close and convenient. We had a couple issues with a broken coffee maker and a leaking dishwasher and Bluewater was there immediately to remedy the situation. I highly recommend Bluewater and this Reserva Conchal property.

Exceeded Expectations

Oh wow, what a gem we stumbled upon! Our two families stayed here, and let me tell you, it was way better than we ever hoped. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything felt right at home but with a cool vacation vibe that you can't just find anywhere. The place was super clean, roomy enough for all of us to spread out, and had everything we needed to make our stay a breeze. Plus, our host Mariela Jaen was top-notch – super friendly and always there when we needed something. Absolutely recommend this spot if you’re looking for a chill place to kick back with family and friends. All the best parts of a resort are there if you want them, and if you want your own space, it's there too. It’s a solid 10/10 in our books!

Wonderful villa, wonderful week!

We couldn’t have been happier with this villa and the location! It was our first time to Costa Rica and this villa made our experience that much better!!! The villa was clean, very spacious and had a fantastic pool and backyard (with working grill!!). The views of the golf course were stunning as well. It was a short walk to the Westin where we hopped on the tram to the private beach club. The beach club restaurant was terrific. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We went in August (rainy/slower season) so we got really lucky with no crowds whenever we went. Having a private villa in a gated community with a short car ride to the beach club (if you don’t want to walk to Westin/take tram), it was a PERFECT experience for our family! We used the pool and grill almost daily. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes. All of the appliances were clean and well maintained. There were fresh pool towels and beach chairs on property as well. The cleaning woman was friendly. And most importantly, the management team (both Kelly and Olber) were incredibly helpful and responsive with anything we needed - from private transportation to excursions. They were always available to help with anything! We hope to come back and rent this same villa- that’s how much we truly enjoyed our stay. Not a care in the world when we were at Villa Carao #3!!! We LOVED EVERY SINGLE DAY we were there!!!

Stunning home, perfect layout, comfortable beds

This Carao Villa was beyond our expectations! We've stayed at Carao before in a condo and at Reserva Conchal in general in the past at a condo in Bougainvillea. We decided we like the Carao community best because of it's location within Reserva. "Our" Carao condo wasn't available, so we went looking for an alternative for our annual Costa Rica trip with friends. We are so glad we found this option - as one of our friends said, we now have a new standard for our vacations! The villa has 3 common areas - 2 upstairs where you enter from the car port and one downstairs. We took turns "inviting" each other to talk or watch TV (there are 5 TVs) in the different areas available to us. The furniture is very comfortable and main floor is an open plan with nice sight lines both within the house and to the view outside to the golf course. The kitchen is fully equipped for a gourmet chef (who has 2 sinks?!) with loads of counter space for prep. The washer and dryer are always a nice touch. The bedrooms are spacious and have very comfortable beds. Each room has it's own en-suite full bathroom, plus a half bath upstairs and one downstairs. One of the bedrooms downstairs is a bit small, but still has plenty of space in it, a closet, desk, and it's own door out to the pool area. Did I mention the villa has it's own pool? Of course, the pool isn't heated, but the sun does a nice job all on it's own. The furniture outside is also comfortable and the gas grill was nice to use one night of our trip. And our friendly neighborhood iguanas had some very nice meals of the yellow flowers on the trees, followed by sunning themselves for hours on end. We couldn't believe just how much space this place has - we didn't even make use of the room upstairs. The room upstairs doesn't have a door on it, so while it can be used for a bedroom, it's not very private. And the heat seems to rise up there, since there's no door. Beautiful view from up there, though. We had breakfast out on the upstairs deck each morning and the beautiful blue birds came to visit, though they were not a nuisance. We had a couple of very minor maintenance issues (a door that wouldn't stay closed and a question about the A/C) - the maintenance people showed up promptly and addresses the issues, no problem. We loved this place so much that we've already booked it again for a return trip later this year! Blue Water Properties handled every part of the transaction beautifully.

Golf Trip

4 older men came to play at the golf course and the house was nearly perfect. Very clean and spacious. Nice pool. Furniture was top notch. No hot water the first morning but maintenance promptly fixed it. The only issue we had has nothing to do with the booking but rather the design. The top floor is just a single bedroom but no bathroom on the level. So the person who slept upstairs had to descend to shower and use the bathroom. Not a big deal but just a bit of a headscratcher. Overall the house was fantastic and we would book it again.

Luxury Resort Living

The house is fantastic. Three well separated ensuite bedrooms made for privacy for all of our adult family as well as multiple livings spaces/televisions and outdoor areas with plenty of seating options. Per the description, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cooking appliances (blender, coffee maker, rice cooker, large pots, many utensils, toaster). Perhaps my idea of a 'well stocked pantry' is different - guests who plan to eat and cook in the unit may want to pick up what seasonings they require including salt (there was only a tiny bit) and pepper. A container of olive oil was provided as well as some coffee filters and sugar packets. Check in was easy and no nonsense - they send a code and you walk in independently which we really appreciated rather than someone showing up to introduce us to the house - we like to do that our own. The code made it easy for everyone to come and go. There was a mild mildewy smell upon entering (mostly coming from the front closet which by the way has a safe) but after a while it's no longer noticeable. The grill can use some attention - the heat wasn't working ideally. Linens and towels very clean and nice quality, comfortable furniture, CLEAN house. Bathroom products, dishwasher detergent, dish soap, and laundry powder provided. Having the washer/dryer is so helpful in a balmy climate. Housekeeping came twice, and yard/pool guy came a couple of times. The resort itself is great - our second visit to Reserva Conchal - the Beach Club has great food and service, the beach is flat out one of the most beautiful we've seen, the W hotel is nearby for dining, and the shops at the Westin are accessible. We rented a golf cart from Flamingo Beach Golf Carts - Chip brings the cart to your door, will come with fuel if you need more, and has some great tips for the area. We're thankful the owner was willing to share their beautiful vacation home.

Magical holiday

We so enjoyed our holiday family stay at Villa Carao#3! From the detailed information provided upon reserving our stay through the painless check-in and helpful concierge staff, our trip could not have been better handled. We enjoyed meeting Allan especially and our whole group raves about coming back. The photos, while spectacular, do not do the property justice. Kudos to Blue Water staff for making our stay perfect!

Idyllic, spacious house with outdoor pool

We are a family of five, with three children, ages 6, 5 and 2, and this house perfectly suited our needs. It was spacious and well decorated (without posing issues for our kids). The bedrooms were all roomy with comfy beds and ensuite bathrooms, including one with a Jacuzzi, much to the children's delight. The kitchen and laundry room were exceptionally well-equipped. And the television room was a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day. But the piece de resistance was the outdoor pool (with inflatable beds) which we spent hours in with the kids during our 5-day stay. The area is reasonably close to the Beach Club and tranquil at all times of day (unless our children were in the pool!). Service was excellent. Very highly recommended.

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay at this villa. Loved having the space, private pool and maid service twice a week was a bonus. The beach club at Reserva Conchal was amazing with its pools, bar, restaurant, spa and beach access to Conchal. Conchal for us is one of the nicest beaches in all of Costa Rica with its white sand and calm waters. We will be back next year for sure! Thanks again to Becky & the Blue Water Properties staff who also helped us arrange airport transfers, our rental car and two tours.
