“Overall, the hotel was lovely. The room was clean and had everything we needed, although if you need an iron you need to request the whole laundry service. The staff were so helpful and really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. It is in a quiet area near the river but hard to walk anywhere from it. Only a short drive to Alcacer do Sal. The pool needed cleaning along the bottom and there was a long trail of ants along the corridor until our final night. The breakfast was delicious, a……

“What an amazing hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly, our room was large, and very clean, but the real star of the show is the stunning castle itself. There are so many areas to explore. Sitting rooms, the chapel, a pool table room, and the outside pool area is from a fairytale. It’s like going back in time. We felt like royalty. 100% recommended.”

“On top of a hill with a fantastic 360 degree view. Has a large open terrace with no services - no food, no drinks which seemed like a missed opportunity. There was a breakfast food service only. Other food services in the area were sparse so the only option was to drive into a busier area and pray for parking. The parking at the hotel was a very good underground lot with several chargers for electric vehicles”

“The hotel was a small traditional charming place in a lovely square in setubal. It was very homely nothing was too much trouble for the staff from heating the beans my partner took with him to cutting my plasters when I needed them. The staff made the stay fabulous. Each and every day the small group of staff were always happy . My partner is very jovial and he told his jokes to the staff and wanted something everyday and they were brilliant. “Hotel tutto sommato bello ma il personale attualmente in servizio è di bassissima qualità. Ragazza in reception molto scorbutica che parla pochissimo inglese. Staff in sala breakfast al mattino terribili: hanno pulito il tavolo di ospiti che avevano appena fatto colazione semplicemente aggiungendo le posate che mancavano sopra ai tovaglioli senza pulire bene e cambiare tutto il set. Incredibile. Mai vista una roba del genere. La colazione è decisamente mediocre ma il problema vero appare……
