「This was a really nice unit. Not on the water, but within a few minutes drive time to Houghton Lake, and 20 minutes to Higgins Lake. Lots of beautiful trails, boat launches, and public parks. Located on a quiet street, close to stores and restaurants. Would stay here again. The host was more than accommodating, and made sure every need was met. The house is well equipped, even down to a crate for your dog. The washing machine and dryer were an added bonus!」

The owners thought of everything... we were able to cook a few nights on the grill and the location was close to the lakes, but far enough for quiet "in the woods" nights! 「Incredible view and communication with property owners make this stay a perfect weekend getaway. The lodge itself was clean, nicely spaced out for everyone to enjoy privacy or to come together for conversation on the deck overlooking the lake or the fire pit. The town is a few minutes away with an ice cream shop, hardware store and an outstanding grocery store with fresh cut meat available if you’re looking to grill/cook. Overall, I highly recommend this rental for a couples or family getaway. 」

「This is the cutest little spot I almost don’t want to give it such a good review so it doesn’t book up too soon. We want it all to ourselves. The beach is great. The lake is clean. The creek was our favorite spot. Everything was as it was promised. The hostess was great and we got to meet on the way out. Definitely recommend. 」

「We had an awesome guys trip. Fishing was good, house was clean, the hosts are very responsive. We cannot wait to stay again! The only downside was no air conditioning and it was over 100 degrees, but we survived. 」
