Quick Getaway
My sister and I stayed at the property for a quick winter getaway and we really enjoyed it. The views are wonderful and the house is clean and exactly as it appears in the listing. We are already talking about coming back again in the summer!

Great Getaway on the Water
This adorable house is well decorated and nicely laid out. Beautiful big windows to see the lake. We were there in the dead of winter so weren’t outside but it was still a great view! Check in and out was easy! Beds were comfortable. Seating area was perfect and WiFi worked great for us! We’ve stayed here twice and plan to do it again!

Nice cottage and we enjoyed staying there. There was a huge snowstorm, and it would have been nice if the road were plowed. We had a lot of shoveling to do.

Great winter getaway
Great little place to stay. Had everything we needed. Clean. Not fancy, very simple. View was amazing. If you are needing a large space for large adults this may not be the place. Cozy, quaint, clean and rustic. We used it to relax while our teenagers rode the slopes at Cab and Crystal.

Perfect Winter Getaway!
We rented this cottage for our annual ski trip and it was everything we needed and more! Close to caberfae, super cozy and clean, and gorgeous lake views. Loved staying here and will stay again!

Relaxing and breathtaking views
We have a family of 5. We needed a little get away before the school year and this place was just the place! The view! The lake! Everything was great! We will totally be back. We were able to paddle board with ease as the lake was not super deep right in front of the house. Perfect for family with kids that love water! The house was clean and stocked. The neighbors were very nice also. Highly recommend this property.

July 2023 Girls Trip
The place was very cute. It was only steps to the lake. It was a little chilly when we went so we thought we'd have a fire but when we arrived noticed there was no firepit, which was in one of the pictures. The shower is VERY small and needs updated. Lot's of items to cook with, spices, pans, etc. Overall it was a lovely place and would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay absolutely loved the view looking out on the lake. The water right off the home was perfect for our kids to play and jump off the dock. We felt the home to be very clean and had everything we needed. Can't wait to come back!

The lakefront and water is nice. it was nice having a large shallow area for our 5 year. It was nice that there was no large drop offs in the water for our 7 and 9 year old to worry about. The indoor area was nice and all the windows could open easily. It was very convenient being so close to miejer, walmart, dunhams, aldi and many places to eat. Very comfortable for a family of 5.

We had a lovely weekend! The house is quiet and cozy, the kitchen is well stocked, and the bedrooms are super comfortable. Spent a lot of time outside on the patio furniture grilling and looking out at the lake. Would love to visit again!

Celebrating 50th wedding anniversary
Have always wanted a cottage and having 2 nights renting one makes me want one even more. Felt very comfortable and enjoyed being right on the water. It had everything you would ever need for a long stay except the food. Definately would go again.

We forgot bathroom spray and nightlights etc, but Bailey didn't. Even provided charging cords and toothpaste. Watching the ice fishers/shanties was fun. Quality upgrades/renovations all done nicely. Easy to get to. Overall, a very nice winter getaway, wish we could have stayed longer.

Terrific Cute cottage on the lake
Stayed here for just one night in the winter after skiing at Caberfae. It was delightful to walk into the cottage and know we had a cozy private spot to spend the evening, and comfy clean beds for sleeping. Great couch/TV setup for relaxing. Owner was quickly responsive to questions via the vrbo chat.

Great house and a Great stay!
Beautiful house on Lake Mitchell! Even though it was winter, we still had fun watching the ice fishermen out on the lake. The house itself is very cute and clean. Great seating areas, beds were wonderful, and kitchen was great! Hosts were a pleasure to work with and all information needed was either given prior to checking in or listed out in the binder at the house. This place made for a great girls weekend for Galentine's day and we would love to come back for another stay soon!

Another great Christmas at the cottage on Lake Mitchell
This was our second year staying in this rental and we love it! Coffee: regular drip pot Internet: Enough for everyone :) Space for teen & tween: Yes! Shared bedroom is pretty big. Other necessaries: check cupboards before you shop, some staples like wrap or bags or salt might already be there. And you don't need dishwasher pods. The thermostat is on a wall in the kitchen between the shelves. The review this time:. This 2br is on Lake Mitchell, which for those not from here is shallow and mostly sandy bottomed. We visit in winter and everyone enjoys playing on the ice. The view is AMAZING. Everyone loves the electric heater/faux fireplace. Last year we used binoculars to watch the bald eagles, this year we used them to watch ice fishing. And I think everyone's favorite part of this trip was when we were snowed in by a multi-day storm so it was hanging out at "home.". Host was great as always, made sure we got a plow. Stay here is you can!

This place is great! We will be coming back. When you step in and see the view, you’ll get it. It felt like we were on a beautiful ocean front. The waves were coming on making a lovely peaceful sound. We saw eagles! The property itself was very neat and clean.

Magnificent views of Lake Mitchell because they had a wall of windows facing the lake. The interior was very much like sweet little cottage. There was some fantastic woodwork done inside.

Wonderful weekend by the lake
Nice and clean house by the lake as shown in the pictures. Well maintained and very friendly owners. Stayed there over the summer weekend and the place has a great location. Cadillac doesn't have many food options, but is a great place to relax and unwind. The house has two TVs for the kids to watch something separate if needed. Kitchen was well equipped with necessities, which is my pet peeve. Overall, great experience.

My daughter and I rented this cottage for a week. It has the most beautiful view of the lake! The lake it’s self is clean for the most part, just a little sea weed to deal with but nothing terrible. The cottage is very nice and equipped with everything you will need. I was just a little disappointed that the refrigerator had other guests condiments left in it. The owner clearly states that you should leave nothing behind food wise. Not sure why the cleaning crew wouldn’t have removed them. The neighbors are very close but again not a big deal. I would have liked some curtains in the living room area for privacy at night, the windows are the whole wall facing the lake. All in all we had a wonderful week! I would definitely recommend this cottage. I had no problems so didn’t need to contact the owner during my stay.

Great Swimming
The cottage is a good size for 6 or less. I have to admit the one bathroom is a bit small. I barely had room to maneuver in the shower and elsewhere, but we managed. The lake is nice. water was warm and the bottom is sand and it's not too deep so you can have some fun by the docks. The location is at one end of the row of houses so it is peaceful.

Great stay, excellent for lounging by the lake and day trips
Easy check in. Owners had a few small things to address after check-in time but not a big deal. It is a pretty rustic cabin, especially the well water, carpets, and bathroom, so keep that in mind. It got over 90 F during our stay and the air conditioner really isn't up to that situation, another thing to keep in mind before booking. Great outdoor space right on the lake. Very communicative and helpful hosts.

Thank you for your response, we are having a mini split installed in August that will provide enough cool air for any outside heat temperature.
