The hotel was ok relatively clean and tidy but not in the nicest area although handy for the train station (right opposite) Staff were very helpful can’t praise them enough Price probably reflected the area
the hotel has a great location - right across from the train/bus station, which was convenient for me. the area is not the greatest though, as staff has to let you in (to block questionable people from entering). overall, I had a good stay
Sammy the receptionist was brilliant and very helpful, enjoy a drink Sammy I left €5 with the other receptionist for you, great value and location on our motorcycle trip to Normandy beaches
The front desk person was very friendly and informative. The room was small but we didn't need a big room either. Clean and cozy and quiet and snelled nice.

Two night stay.
Perfect location for the station. Good wifi and helpful staff. Did not need parking and did not have breakfast. Did the job as described but it is a budget option, room has all essentials but no kettle or refrigerator. Fine for 1 or 2 nights but would not want to stay any longer .

Difficult parking
The hotel is good, clean and comfortable. However it doesn’t have any designated parking and I found it difficult to find a parking space nearby. Luckily on a Sunday night parking was free until 0930 on the Monday morning
Dirty, old, malfunctions, gangster hood, someone offered us drugs as we were walking in, hairs and nails in the shower, stains all over the floor. I would most definitely NOT recommend! The only positive aspect was the young gentleman working the front desk that was very nice and polite
The staff at the property was so friendly and helpful. The woman who checked me in was very fast and efficient. The night man reminded where the internet code was. The day manager stored my bags while I toured the city. We talked about the area and the weather. The breakfast was very good and inexpensive. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
I never stayed in such a small place with the smelliest toilet/shower combination and bathroom door that barely opened and closed past the bed. We were allowed to check in early but reception lacked any friendliness or warmth. Location was next to our car rental and across the street from the train station which was exactly what we needed. I would consider other hotel options adjacent to this hotel in the future.
Wonderful helpful man at reception. But I would invest a few more dollars to stay at the IBIS a few block’s away.
The area was overrun with migrant’s and homeless,I could barely enter the Ibis building, they were laying all over the entry way…I just had to assert myself to get into the hotel, which took some gut’s.
Nothing at all wrong with the hotel, service, cleanliness, price, but the area is aweful and it also appears that the French governement is housing numerous migrant’s in the hotel itself.
We didn’t dare leave the hotel once we got in it,and the area was overwhlemingly aweful.
Kudos to the man at reception. The area is totally unsafe though.

This place is right across from the train station so it was a necessary place to stay for 1 night . It was clean inside. Rooms are dated and the breakfast is not worth paying for. Not safe area so when you left you took all valuables but didn’t feel
Safe walking around with them. Lots of loud fights and police constantly in the area. So no would not stay there again. Would take a cab from somewhere else. I see why they lock their front doors in the evening. The area is so dirty. Drug deals and people peeing on the street. Yuck Staff were lovely and helpful tho.
It's in kind of a slummy area. If you're staying for one or two nights it's good. If you are staying longer you might want a little more modern and bigger room. But it was ok.
Upon arrival we were told only one of our two reserved rooms would be available. We were told all the other available rooms had been booked by a large group. We were able to find a much nicer, cleaner hotel close by the train station.
This was a great cheap place to stay. The beds were comfortable, pillows were good. And the place was clean. Only dislike was the amount of people smoking in the halls and too.s and right outside our window! As non smokers this is really unpleasant. But in Europe it seems smoking is pretty common still.

Book the other Ibis
It was okay for what was needed on a short stay. Area is a little dodgy, but at the end of a day a bed and shower and somewhere to change, personally recommend the other Ibis near this one
