Five stars for the overall experience, location, and especially the staff, even though the actual accommodation is quite basic. The main listing makes it sound like this is a whole house, but it’s actually two completely separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and no connecting door between the two, then the kitchen and seating areas are outside. (This is more obvious in the detailed description if you click through and read the whole thing, but could be clearer in the main description and photos - it worked fine for us but might be difficult if you’re travelling with children who are too young to be in their own separate suite). The seating area wasn’t the most comfortable and it would have been nice to have a safe for valuables, but other than that, no complaints - it’s not fancy but it’s great value for money, and very nice to have a kitchen and access to a pool! We saw toucans every day and enjoyed meeting the resident cats. The staff were fantastic and helped us out with a minor first aid issue and even with a communication issue we were having with our next hotel.
