「A perfectly pleasant stay. However it lacks the human touch. Everything is automated and seems organised to minimise interaction between host and guest. Breakfast - all three courses at the same time left at your door - eating cereal first meant cold bacon sandwich and cold toast. Run for the proprietor not the guest. 」

「Okay, there’s no pool or jacuzzi, but that’s not the point. Everything was just as it should be from Kenneth’s welcome to his establishment to my leaving two days later. The house is absolutely spotless top to bottom with everything the guest would need for a comfortable stay. Breakfasts were well-cooked and tasty, and ample enough to set one up for the day. Bedroom was well-appointed, with numerous thoughtful details. The bed was comfortable with spotless bed linen. I will return!」

「Handy for Rothsey, and a lovely old building. My room was facing the harbour and an interesting view. Tired in places, chair was very wobbly, and doors etc as you would expect in a property of this age. However, the retro-fitted en-suite was good, and nice and clean. Felt like carpet had not been hovered. The Scottish breakfast was nice and not too overwhelming. Just right. The guys running the place were really friendly and polite.」

「We thought we were booking into an Inn with facilities but its a complex of Lodges which are being constructed and a building site. There was no superior room, we were in a Lodge away from the main building as that has just been hanged into rooms with a few tables and chairs in the kitchen for breakfast.. The restaurant hasn't been built yet awaiting planning permission. This is not what we booked on our Anniversary Trip through Scotland - very disappointing We nearly fell over the raised...

「The cottage was spotless and well equipped with binoculars, piano, kitchen equipment to bake, roast and barbecue. Good for disabled as ground floor bedroom and toilet facility. We had a great break, with our daughter and dogs, enjoying walks locally.」
