A lovely place all round. A little far out from the town centre - a good 45 mins walk, so taxis generally required. But other than that, a great place.

Had a great 12 days at Cairns Colonial Club over the recent school holidays. The kids enjoyed the pool area and making new friends every day. The convenience of a cafe, bar, pizza place and also breakfast buffet were great to integrate across our holiday when we weren’t out sight seeing. The rooms were always cleaned regularly and well, the staff always so helpful. Would be great to have slightly better storage solutions in the room, as we lived out of the suitcases instead of being able to put clothes away in a draw. Other than that - highly recommend and would love to visit again on our next trip up.

We only stayed one night but it was really comfortable and clean. The shower was great and they had nice little touches for convenience. We arrived late after a flight and were able to order food at the bar, which was really tasty. I’d easily stay here again.

Was great for a one night stay outside the children on the playground and in the community areas until well after 10pm. Understandable but as a solo traveler, it was difficult to get to sleep with all the commotion.

Not a place stay for anyone with a mobility problem. Asked the staff if they could put me in a room where I didn't have too far to walk from carpark but I think they put me in a room a long distance from the carpark. Quite noisy early in morning with children

This location is terrible, far away from main city and without car you have to uber every time. Two storied but no elevator. Had to carry 22 kg bags over stairs. Building is very old and rooms are okay. Pictures do not do any justice to reality.

Considering it was the off season it was a great place to base ourselves from. good selection of activities (if not a little over priced) but otherwise it was clean and well maintained. Easy access to airport and not too far for a taxi or walk into the town. would recommend, and would stay again
