“This is a nice little hotel. The room was a bit small - I had a double overlooking the back of the hotel on the first floor which is quiet. A/C works well. Easy walk to the Port but nothing else around. Excellent access to the sea which is shallow, sandy and clean. Book a sunbed as there are not many and they are a bit on top of each other which is an issue when people smoke. Food is good and menu quite interesting. Staff are friendly and helpful especially Reception. Take earplugs and……

“We were delighted to have booked Le Provencal. The setting in Gien is perfect, with both easy access to the village and also front line access to the sea via the well maintained gardens, pool & bathing platforms. The pool area and coastline are magical. The service from all of the Le Provencal team was helpful and friendly, of particular note was the 'pool manager'.
