"This is not a hotel but a small property renting out hotel-like rooms on the first floor and holiday apartments on the second. We stayed on the first floor. It was clean, spacious, and the pool was lovely. The manager, Sonia, was very pleasant and helpful. There were only two issues...the small one was that we could have used more towels as we had to use the same towel for the pool and our showers. . Small room but very comfortable. Juliet balcony so not big enough to sit on but lovely sitting in room with balcony door open looking over lagoon. Excellent breakfast buffet with cooked breakfast options, cold meats, smoked salmon, cereals and fruit. Great value for money in February."

"This home is so unique, an old traditional Portuguese rural country home. Lovely courtyard and place to relax in the am and have coffee, or enjoy a glass of wine. It felt comfortable and had an updated feel to it, but still old world. We loved staying here, loved hearing the birds, and it was a 10 minute drive to Caldas da Raina and Obidos. Wonderful place to spend a few nights!"

"A beautiful surprise. Has lots of relaxing outdoor areas, communal kitchen if desired. Although pool being renovated, the excellent price and lovely gift box of eine, cheese, crackers and cake more than compensated. Bed very comfortable, lovely shower and room.
