  • Your Country Escape - Acreage Home
    Sleeps 8 - 3 bedroom plus loft. Located 10 min south of Calgary on 10 acres of land, in a park setting with paved walkways, water features and a large fire pit for those fun family and friends nights. It’s a unique home with an Old European Country Home style that boasts lots of woodwork, stone and concrete finishes. Come stay for a weekend to get away from the City and enjoy the valley and mountains views and relax in an indoor hot tub.
    **We do require sending a photo of the ID for newly created accounts that don`t have reviews/recommendations yet from the other hosts or less than 10 reviews.
    ***Any signs of smoking of any kind & illicit drugs on the premises: $250/assessed per situation. Please make sure to go outside for any smoking needs. The unit has a decibel meter on the premises which protects our guests from false noise complaints and our neighbors happy! ***Strictly `no parties` allowed and any noise violations past 10:00 pm will result in a $1000 fine and eviction. **For a stay of 20 days and more, we require a mid-stay clean ($250) **Please do not flush any other product apart from the toilet tissue down the toilet. Thank you

    **By sending us a booking request, you are consenting to all our house rules, and that includes PROVIDING US WITH A COPY OF YOUR ID. (Driver’s License/Passport)

    CANCELLATION POLICY: A 5% Processing Fee will be applied and charged when refunds are issued.

A great stay

The house is beautiful and well appointed, home owners are responsive and proactive, and our 5 week stay in DeWinton could not have been more enjoyable. We loved the house and property!

Quiet and relaxing

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was comfortable and relaxing. Everything was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely stay here again.

Amazing property

Stayed for three nights at this gorgeous property. Really enjoyed the out of town location and the rural feel of the property. Very clean and very well kept house. We will definitely stay again when in the Calgary area!

Winter get away

Beautiful house, host was great with tour and communication. Plenty of space and rooms were big. Host supplied lots of amenities. I would recommend this place 100%! Thank you Anna!

Tranquil setting

This was the perfect place to relax and spend with family. There is lots of room in the house to prepare food, eat, and visit. Although the property is large, there are very few places to walk. This was solved by driving (12 minutes) into Okotoks with many walking paths and playgrounds for children. The mattresses were ‘tired’ but the bedrooms were large and welcoming. Our family fondly called it ‘The Castle’. It was a magical place to stay. We felt the host went ‘above and beyond’ to make our family stay wonderful.

Beautiful Countryside Home

My Wife and I got married at a nearby venue and wanted to have a nice getaway weekend vacation from our home to celebrate the big day. This house was the perfect setting for us. The House is beautiful and located on a very nice landscaped property boasting a lovely sunset view from the back upper patio. It was located just outside of Calgary half way to okotoks so it was easy to run and get groceries or any items we needed. The house was very clean and had all the items you would need to prepare food. We loved that the owner allowed pets so that we could bring our dog with us and there was a dog run properly fenced off to ensure our pup couldnt escape. At night we were even lucky enough to have an owl land on top of a tree right in front of us while we were enjoying the stars. Anna was very responsive and welcomed us by giving us a tour of her home. She was great to deal with and made us feel very welcome. I hope to make this part of our anniversaries in the future. Thank you Anna for sharing you most beautiful home with us!
