Good place to stay but maybe some foam around the doors to help decrease the noise from the hall would be better than the gaps that provide no sound proofing. Great place to stay but some guests fail to realize they are not the only ones in the building. The property and everything else was great.

I was disappointed that we were only informed check-in day that the hotel was under renovation and the pool was out of service. Since we were traveling with kids, having access to a pool was an important factor in choosing where to stay. If we had known in advance, we could have decided whether this hotel was still the right fit for us. Based on the signage at the property, it appears the pool had been closed for some time, so this wasn’t a last-minute issue.

We stayed one night. The staff were friendly and beds were really supportive and comfy. We found the linen and towels very clean. The room was tired but still ok. We didn’t try the complementary breakfast. Parking was excellent and the location close to amenities. The building is under renovation but still great for a stopover.

Hotel was under renovation, and the pool was closed. We were only notified on the day of checking in through message through Expedia which I did not see until later. None of the rooms in the hotel have bathroom doors that lock (or so I was told by the reception staff member), and the bathroom doors are a sliding barn door style which have gaps you can see into when the door is closed. There is no privacy, everything done in the bathroom can be heard, and to top it off the bathroom didn't have a fan (just a semi-passive wall vent). After a shower the whole room was steamy because the moisture couldn't clear fast enough. The A/C unit is on top of an unfinished wood box with a strip of carpet wrapped around the front of it. The exterior wall had the vapour barrier sticking our from the bottom of the wall. The only reason I am giving two stars rather than one is due to the staff being very nice, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, this has been my most disappointing hotel stay. Lastly, if I were to ask for a refund/discount/credit for the stay, Expedia will say that it's up to the Hampton Inn, and the Hampton Inn will say that since I book through Expedia they can't offer anything. Both sides get to pass off any accountability.

This was a great hotel to stay at...downside they were busy with outside renovations, but we could use the hotel pool next door, no problem at all with that and the staff was very helpful on both end. For us that travelled far did not know about it, until we completed our booking, an online notice would've help, unless I've missed it. It was still a great place to stay, great breakfast. The hotel staff was very helpful when I had to move dates 2 weeks before my stay. Parking is a bit of cramped if you drive a big truck, they do have underground parking for suv size cars... Would definitely book at this hotel again, hopefully when renovations are done.

Lovely, clean, spacious room, very comfortable bed & pillows, front desk staff very nice, lots of choices for breakfast, underground parking was a bonus - very safe. Room's bathroom was large but no room for toiletries (should be a counter? table? between sink & toilet). Not very good water pressure for shower in morning. Would book this hotel again (providing very good price doesn't go sky high when renos are complete).
