We tried to check im at 1 pm (coming from Edmonton) , the front desk lady was so mean and didn't let us check in although we have been to Calgary many times and some hotels would let us check in at 12!!! Anyways we came back at 3pm and there was a line up and we had to wait for 20 mins until they get our room ready !!! Pool was crowded too, and some people were screaming in the lobby in the evening! Won't 100 percent book a stay in this hotel again !

Nice property. They did not have free coffee in the morning and breakfast was 15.99 pp. First time I have ever had to pay for breakfast at a Holiday Inn.

Room was a good size for our family of 7. Service and restaurant is solid. Only downside was the AC wasn’t working in our room and was a bit warm. Everything else was great.

This was our second stay. The first time the cleanliness was impeccable, this time there was a wet pool towel in the closet and a crumpled water bottle on top of the closet. The light switch in the bathroom was grubby and it just seemed like that room had been through a lot and then hurriedly cleaned. We will likely give them one more chance as we like the convenient location close to YYC.

The property is conveniently located. It is close to many amenities. From the outside, it looks new-ish but there are a lot of car dealerships around so the parking lot is full. Cant say if it was some dealership cars or all guest vehicles but some had a lot of snow on them which means they were not moved in some time. This makes yo think if those vehicles are from the dealership, leaving less space for the hotel guests. The staff is friendly but we didn't get to interact much with the. The hotel has Breakfast buffet for $16 per person but when we went for it, the pans were empty so we decided to eat outside. The room was big and spacious with a pull out bed, which we didn't need, so it was a waste of space. There was a low droning noise that could be heard in the room continuously but that didn't bother us much as were super tired by the end of the day. The towels in the room had holes in them!! They were old and worn out!! Not a big issue but for a big chain like the IHG, they cold have provided better towels! Checking out was easy.
