Slightly dated property but friendliness of older proprietors and knowledge of area more than make up for this. Welcoming happy hour wine with wonderful stories combined with awesome breakfast make this a place to stay in Calistoga.

Fantastic place from which to stay and explore wine country! This property is beautiful with a ton of character, the owners are incredibly accommodating and friendly, breakfast is delicious, and you’re only a few minutes away from downtown Calistoga: lots of wine, restaurants, and shops. Such a unique and lovely property, such kind and caring owners. The breakfasts were incredible. The property is gorgeous, with so many different trees and plants and flowers, a vineyard, and views of the mountains. Tucked away so it feels quiet and reserved, yet close to all the needed services and town. We will be back!

This is an adult Inn, meaning no children under 18. Exactly what I needed. Very warm and inviting place. Dennis and his wife are quite the hosts. When I said I would be arriving late, they said there will be cold bottled water in the outside fridge. There was. I felt like I was coming home even though I had never been here. The atmosphere is quiet, natural, and calm. Just what I needed to decompress from the wedding I was attending. The stars shining over the vineyard at night is such a relaxing place to enjoy some time or wine. Dennis makes his own and has a great reputation in the valley. There is a pool, which I imagine would be nice, if there wasnt so much more to do in the daytime. Breakfast was an eggs benedict and fruit spread treat. I stuffed myself with the best eggs benedict I have ever had! Its communal dining, so I was thrilled to speak with fellow travellers. The bed was more than comfortable and the shower was clean and stocked with shampoo and soap. I really cant say enough. Dennis was so nice. I told I wasnt drinking this weekend and he made sure to get me some non alchoholic beer without me even asking! I had a tear in my eye when I had to leave, and a yearning to make it back here soon. Its very centrally located to all the other vineyards. Its about 15 mins door to door, and just far enough from the frenzy. Book this place! You wont regret it! P.S. I stayed in the Peter Storm room. That stained glass bear is a rendition of his award winning California flag.

This is a cottage like bed and breakfast run by lovely couple Dannis and Marjorie. Wine is served at 5pm, and heartful breakfast at 9am. The rooms are in 1900s style conditions, mostly clean except the cottage room.

Calistoga Sept 2021

Quaint and affordable compared to other B&B's or hotels. Location good for wineries. Set in a vineyard, owners very nice. Make sure you check that room has private bath, some do not (ours did). No real complaints, would stay again.
