Wonderful quiet & sunny place

We stayed for 2 weeks at the beginning of September and had a great time here. It's a wonderful place in nature with lot's of olive & oak trees. Very quiet and secluded. We enjoyed the time at the pool or reading at the balcony in the morning. It's not far to the Gorges de Pénafort, the beach at Sainte-Maxime, the Gorges du Verdon or the excellent Chagall Museum in Nice. We enjoyed parasailing and snorkeling, the Calanques de Fréjus and the Puits Aérien and Passerelle Himalayenne in Trans-en-Provence. Thanks Fabienne for the hospitality. It was great fun, we'd come back anytime.

Fantastic Stay in a lovely house with pool

We had an amazing stay at the house with our friends and enjoyed the great view, the nice pool, the trampoline and the swing for the kids, the barbecue. The kitchen was well equiped and perfect for preparing the dinner. Thank you very much, we would love to come back the next years!

Wir durften 10 wundervolle Tage in diesem tollen Haus verbringen. Sowohl das Haus als auch die Außenanlage mit dem Pool sind sehr liebevoll, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Egal, ob wir einen Tag am Pool verbracht haben oder einen Ausflug ans Meer oder ein hübsches Städtchen gemacht haben, ... die Lage der Villa Margrette ist für beides perfekt!

Perfect place for holidays in a quite an reposing surrounding.

In the middle of the Var region, close to romantic towns and 30 minutes from the mediterrean sea we spent 2 weeks in a perfect reposing environment. The view is fantastic. Fabienne was happy to provide us with ideas for trips in the area. We all appreciated.

Quiet and secluded

Wonderful house in picturesque setting

We were two adult couples who stayed at Fabienne and David's wonderful house in Callas. The house is exactly as stated in the listing. We used the two double bedrooms which were comfortable and clean. Most of them time we used the outside area which has a seating area (with coach and chairs) and a dining area under a shade. We used the gas BBQ for most of our meals. The pool was sufficiently warm to swim and was clean. The outside area has a great view of the valley. Fabienne was very helpful with supplying information prior to our stay and for aiding with the check-in process. She left us a welcome package which was very kind of her. The house was very well equipped with everything needed for our stay including internet. We found the house quite easily up a steep hill with narrow road - but I would try to arrive during the day as at night it might be challenging. The village of Callas was quaint with a wonderful bakery. There were many places to visit in the area - we took a day trip to Lac Saint Croix and took an electric boat up the gorge, which was amazing. Thanks to Fabienne and David for making our short stay so enjoyable.

Stayed for two weeks. Callas is lovely with plenty of places to eat and a well stocked local shop. Also cafes, wine shop and bakery. Surrounding countryside is stunning and there are many beautiful villages and towns to explore all with their own unique fascination.

Lovely and typical Provencial hideaway!

We came to find a week of relaxation and to enjoy all the beauty of the Provence. The house played a great part in our enjoyable stay. It is well constructed and very nicely decorated. Nothing special, yet all what is required and expected, simple and efficient. Outside the trees in the garden always provides some protection from the sun, which is with you the whole day until a beautiful sunset over the hills across the valley. The house is set very privately and the whole experience is very peaceful. It is well located with regards to day trips to the vineyards, golf course, beach, Gorge du Verdon, and surrounding villages. It was a short, but wonderful week!

Had a wonderful time

Great house in a really quiet surrounding. Brilliant view from the pool deck. Callas is a super sweet village that has all you need and there is plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Kitchen and BBQ is really nice if you want to cook local specialties. The owners are very welcoming and responsive to all kind of small things you need to know (and have plenty of insider tipps for the area). Big thank you to Fabienne and David!

Sehr schönes, gut eingerichtetes Haus mit allen technischen Dingen für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Sehr gute Betten in wirklich geräumigen Zimmern. Netter kleiner Pool in einem wunderschönen, uneinsichtigem Garten. Zufahrt über sehr steile Straße (300 m) - nichts für tiefergelegte Autos. Ruhige Lage in Wohngebiet im Landesinneren, aber sehr zentral für Ausflüge mit dem Auto, z. B. St. Tropez, Cannes, Nizza, Antibes, Draguignan oder zum Canyon,. Auto nötig, da die Lebensmittelversorgung zwar sehr gut ist, allerdings nicht ohne Auto möglich ist. Von Fabienne, der wirklich freundlichen Vermieterin, haben wir sehr viele wertvolle Tipps für das tägliche Leben vorab und auch im Haus erhalten. Man wird von Fabienne und David absolut rund herum betreut! Erholsamer Urlaub in einem sehr schönen Haus! Uns hat es sehr gefallen.

Me, my wife and our four month baby spent two fantastic weeks, in April, in the house. Clean and well-maintained property in great condition and had everything we needed including terrace, pool, barbecue washing machine, wifi etc. Great hosts, supporting us if we had any questions. Took day trips to Grasse and St. Maxime as well as to close by villiges like Callas and Bergemon. Both Bergemon and Callas are really nice villiges and has some nice restaurants. Visting wine yards are just a few minutes by car. We will definitely come back!

Great stay!

Well equiped and spacious house. Clean and comfortable. Excellent outdoors with both sun and shade, garden with pool, a large plot with olive trees, beautyful view and privacy. Both coast and Gorges du Verdon within an hour drive. The road to Callas is narrow and winding, so not suitable to walk with children (car is necesarry). We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the house. Owner Fabienne is very attentive and easily contactible.

Wonderful Stay

We spent a fabulous week at Maison Callas and had a great stay. The house and outside space were super clean and had all the facilities we needed. We would definitely recommend staying here - Callas and the surrounding area is beautiful although with the lovely pool there is no need to travel too far! Thank you David and Fabienne!
