“MICHAEL!!! We’ve been in Ireland for 5 nights and have stayed in 5 different places. The Lodge was above all our favorite! Michael was so warm and welcoming and had the best suggestions. The pizza place next-door is amazing! We were in Italy, 2 Christmases ago and this pizza was even better!”

“Nice clean rooms. Comfy beds. The toilets are communal but there’s lots of them so we never waited for them. It actually speeded us all up getting ready as we had a toilet each in the morning. Free supplies for breakfast and a fully functioning kitchen. Big car park too. The only negative was the check in process. You collect keys from the bar and there was a party on so we had to wait half an hour for someone to come with the keys ”

“Staff was very helpful and friendly but this is far from a 4 star hotel. Rooms and common spaces are very dated. One of the beds in our room was lopsided from wear and in the bathroom the toilet tissue is in a dispenser like in a public toilet. ”

“The bathroom had drips of tea or coffee on the floor, the glasses in the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly and the floor had not been swept. The spoons for the tea /coffee facility had heavy staining, they needed a proper clean or once through the dishwasher. My wife and I straightened the bed, but there was no attempt to make the bed properly!”
