Family Friendly, Located Between Two Ski Hills, cable tv, WiFi, Off Road Parking

  • The cabin is located in the Keweenaw National Historical Park. It can sleep up to 6 people comfortably, it has 2 bedrooms with queen beds, and two full size futons and a twin bed in other rooms. There is a fully stocked eat in kitchen, a secure area to store ski or snowmobile equipment. The cabin is centrally located between Houghton 12 miles south and Copper Harbor 45 minutes north, and is at the edge of town quiet and close to shopping and other outdoor or indoor activates. Mt Ripley is 12 miles south and Mt Bohemia is 18 miles North. The main snowmobile and ATV trail is 1/2 mile away and easily accessed.

Both bedrooms and the bathroom are up a very steep stairway. The WiFi is spotty. We had to kill several giant house spiders (one on my bath towel) The beds were very hard. The location was great, close to Michigan Tech, Quincy Mine and it was a gorgeous drive to Copper Harbor.

It was an absolute joy to stay at Theresa's place! We felt right at home. The kitchen was stocked with what we needed to make many meals there. The area is beautiful and the house itself is on a quiet road. I would stay here again!

Theresa the host was most helpful and accommodating. We were in Larium for our annual ski trip to Mt. Bohemia and on our second day the area was hit with a blizzard that dropped 18 inches of snow. Theresa had the parking area timely plowed which allowed us to travel. The home itself was very clean and the kitchen fully equipped. We recommend this place as a central home base to enjoy the Keweenaw

We came for a 3 day snowboarding trip. Terese was wonderful, very responsive and friendly. Check in process was easy and the house was beautiful with super unique and fun decor. However , the porch was my absolute favorite part of the house! Absolutely stunning and so much character! We loved the whole vibe and would definitely stay again. Thank you so much!

Outstanding Place!

A very nice property within walking distance to Calumet. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and host was a very good communicator. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely stay here again.
