Spring Special

The second bedroom/studio, accessible via exterior steps through a private entrance, includes a bedroom with a luxurious California king bed. A glass door opens to an outdoor concrete patio with a fenced grassy yard, perfect for observing deer in the meadow below and listening to the waves crash on the rocks off the coast.

Upper Level
Park in our carport with a complimentary Charge Point 220v Level 2 EV Charger. Walk up to the “Upper Deck” to enjoy breathtaking views of sunsets, whale migrations, and deer on the hill below from the spacious patio.

Living Room
The open-concept dining and living room includes a table for 6, a futon/couch, full couch, love seat, and a remote start gas fireplace. Upgraded double panel low-e windows ensure a cool temperature. Enjoy a movie on the 55” TV with Chromecast and fast internet (180 Mbps down/10 Mbps up).

Kitchen
The newly remodeled kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, ice maker, drip coffee maker, new range and oven, microwave, pots, pans, children's plates/utensils, and all necessary cooking basics. No dishwasher.

Master Bedroom & Bath
The master bedroom features a queen bed, attached master bathroom, and a 55” Roku TV with Chromecast. A pack’n play is available for little ones. The master bathroom includes a new vanity, spacious tiled shower, tile floor, and plush towels.

Lower Level/Studio
Exit the main house to walk downstairs to the private lower-level studio, a perfect romantic hideaway. The studio features a California king bed, gas fireplace, 55” Roku TV with Chromecast, and a grassy patio with ocean views. The bathroom includes a new vanity, updated plumbing, and a shower/tub.

Security
For guest safety and arrival verification, we use Ring System active recording cameras and automatic driveway lights. Please bring your own beach towels, beach chairs, and other outdoor essentials. Outdoor Ring Cameras are live recording 24/7.

Pets
Dogs under 80lb allowed. No Cats.

The ocean view is absolutely unbeatable! The owners truly don’t cut corners—everything is high quality. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the toilet paper isn’t the cheap one-ply kind, the linens are lovely, and even the pots and pans are great. I felt extremely safe and completely at home.. We really didn't want to leave.

This was a really nice home, it seems to have been recently renovated as everything was in very good, new condition. The kitchen was very nicely supplied, everything I needed to cook was available. There was a bunch of spices, salt, pepper, sugar, and a few K-cups for coffee, which was nice. Also, there was a drip coffee maker and filters. No dishwasher, which might be a problem for some people.The living room was also very comfortable, and adjacent to the kitchen, big enough for 4 adults. I wouldn't recommend more people staying here, unless it's smaller kids. The gas fireplace was very effective and cozy on a few chilly nights. The outside upper deck had four Adirondack chairs, the lower level had two. The lower bedroom is separate from the upper living room & bedroom. It requires a walk down the outside stairs. Kinda different, but actually nice for two adult couples. As other people have noted, there is a musty smell in the lower unit. They have a large, very loud de-humidifier running, but I would recommend property mgmt. adds an air cleaner. If we could have left the windows open it would've been less noticeable, but it was too chilly for that. Other than that, it was a very nice suite with the fireplace by the bed and view of the ocean. One other note is my T-Mobile iPhone did not have service in Cambria (or mostly at all in the area, at least up to Ragged Point). I did not have roaming on, which could be why. My husband had Verizon/Android and that worked.

The house is very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. The neighborhood is quiet. The view is amazing. A great place to stay and we would definately stay again when visiting Cambria.

The place is very cute and spacious with the greatest view. You see deer morning, afternoon and evening. You hear the sea lions in the morning and night. The kitchen is fully equipped. The upstairs and downstairs are not attached, but that worked for privacy purposes. It was such a great place to stay and very quiet.

Absolutely Wonderful!

We had a very relaxing stay. We saw a mama fox and 5 young fox trapsing through the neighbor's yard. We saw many deer and just got to sit and relax on the back porch admiring the ocean. Every person we saw or met either waved or said hello. Many with their dogs so our dog was happy! Enjoyed the older generational feel of Cambria. A very laid back community.

Beautiful View, Great Management Co Service, That's it

This review is really about 2 extremes. After checking in, my family went to the house to immediately discover two important things: 1) The upstairs and the downstairs are not linked inside of the house. To go from the primary bedroom (downstairs) to the living room and kitchen (upstairs) you must walk outside and lock the door behind you. 2) There's no heat downstairs. There is a fireplace, but the downstairs portion lacks central heat. We were traveling with an 18 month old, so both of these factors were non-starters for us... Here's where the good comes in. The management company handled the issue exactly how it should have been addressed. I called them, explained the situation, and they gave me 3 options on how to move forward -- 1) Stay at the house we had booked and figure out a source of heat. 2) Switch to another house they owned for the same price. 3) Get a total refund, and we could go try to find lodging elsewhere. The woman I worked with at the management co could not have been nicer about the whole thing, and I got the sense that people perhaps frequently have issues with this unit. We elected to switch to another house, and had a great trip. Unless you're in a very specific circumstances (I.E. maybe 2 couples traveling and you want your own space), I would avoid this house. It's not a good set up for families, and given how cold Cambria is, a house not having central heat is not okay. Skip this place, but do book somewhere else with Scenic Coast Management.

Beautiful view, clean and cozy

We loved our stay here. We only used the upstairs portion of the rental….. it was well equipped and clean. The fireplace is nice and cozy and the view is outstanding. Will consider staying here again in the future.

Beautiful location, but unable to relax and take in view with construction ongoing next door, for 8 hours each day. Had to leave each day, as the hammering was too much to deal with. Ideal for two couples.

Nice for a Cambria visit

The property is easy to find and is really nice for a couple. If traveling with more, that 2nd bedroom is accessed via a separate entrance, which will be odd for young children. The view is nice, and the local deer visit often.

Romantic get-away for two!

The property was GREAT! The window views were awesome and the deck chairs were perfect for seating outside and watching the sunset. If we had had a small table to hold our drinks and plate of snacks it would have been complete. All in all we truly loved our stay here. Looking forward to bringing our friends the next time we come.

Great view but very outdated and bad mildew problem

This property has a great view and and that’s anout the only positive thing about it. The worst part was the mildew smell in the downstairs bedroom. I had read reviews about it but did not expect it to be as bad as it was. There seems to be a leak in the shower area and that may be causing it. It was so bad my friend had a headache the whole time we were there and we left a day early. The management company was nice enough to refund one night but it was a bit disappointing overall.This property is very outdated and needs major renovation. Read the reviews of other customers, I think they cover most of what we experienced.
