「This is essentially a pole barn, and I assume it was once used as one, as indicated by the slight farm smell inside. The fact it's wide open is NOT a negative it's nice having room to move around, and the sleeping arrangements just work. 「This is a very perfect mansion which is both classic and modern. I’m surprised that even the towels are put on a heating rack. We love the food a lot, both dinner and breakfast. Fresh ingredients and nicely cooked by the host! Host is very nice and introduced us to sheep feeding. Thanks for lending us a HDMI cable as well since our laptop’s monitor is not functioning well and we need to connect it to the TV.」

「Starlight valley was even better then we could imagine. There is not words for its beauty. It was close to lots of great hiking and 20 min to hobbiton. The Host Rachel was the kindest most helpful person and was the savior of our trip after we had some car issues. She was a great example of the kind hearted Kiwi people.
