My friend and I had a nice stay. We love the historic town of Cambridge. Downtown has some very nice places to eat and relax. The house is directly across from Long Wharf Park. In the mornings if you like you can sit on the little porch chairs and watch the sunrise over the choptank bridge and across the park.

The place was wonderful beautiful views of harbor, extremely clean and well appointed. Great restaurants we ate at RAR, great beer and food. Christopher’ Corner great dinner food fabulous and cocktails, highly recommend. Blackwater Cafe wonderful breakfast.

The house is small but cute. The seating in the living room isn’t great with only a small sofa and 2 not very comfortable chairs but we didn’t need to spend much time indoors. The location was central to several towns we wanted to visit on the Eastern Shore and the view from the house and access to the green space and waterfront was very nice. The town is small but charming and historic. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked with basic items like soap and shampoo. Communication with the owner was very slow and rather frustrating which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. We had a lovely weekend and great weather and we loved having our dog with us so all worked out well.

The Lighthouse cottage was super clean & comfortable, beautifully decorated and stocked with supplies, and located on a lovely block overlooking water l. As a bonus, it was walking distance from downtown’s many shops and restaurants.

Convenient Cambridge townhouse

Walked around Cambridge, and in the Blackwater Wildlife Refuge, which is less than half an hour away by car. The well-stocked kitchen was a real plus in light of the abundant local seafood. We bought ours at Kool Ice Seafood.
