「I booked this hotel because it looked beautiful and it also said on its website that it had a pool. I called and spoke to someone at the front desk and asked about the pool situation because it was the most important thing because of my kids. I was told the pool was on site, and even was told that a great deal of money had been put into upgrading the pool. I was never told once that the pool wasnt owned by Gideon Putnam Hotel and Resort. 「The resort looks tired. It needs a few repairs. The staff was friendly. We did not eat at the resort, but the next tiem we stay I would like to stay longer. I am not convinced that we received the benefits of the resort that we paid for on our resort fee. I attended a wonderful yoga class with Jasmine. I highly recommend the yoga, and the pool looked inviting, and I wish I had swum laps there. We will try it again, but I think the resort is overpriced given the quality of the amenities...
