The location is excellent, across the street from the ocean, ferry and restaurants. The staff was super helpful with printed material about hiking trails and places to eat. The rooms were freshly painted and very clean. Be aware, though, that this is an older establishment and the rooms and bathrooms are small, definitely not a luxury accommodation.

The location is excellent. It was very clean. Many thoughtful touches for guests— pantry items, drinks in fridge, toiletries. Good water pressure and nice hot water! They seem like nice people. Unfortunately the bed was hard and the pillows were old and so I didn’t sleep well.

I stayed in this little motel while traveling to Camden, Maine to attend a friend's wedding. I was traveling solo but felt totally safe. I loved the common areas. When I was struggling to cool down my room, the staff was super responsive and got it fixed ASAP. I would totally stay here again!

I had not stayed at a location such as this--self-service and fully stocked with everything we needed, and more! Nice to see shared spaces with all sorts of games, along with the thoughtful refreshments. I'd certainly return when lucky enough to bi in there area--the location was great-easy walk into town.

Look no further, this is the place to stay. Adorable updated homestyle motel. Great room with all the amenities. The colonial house attached has lovely sitting rooms to play games or read. There is a shared kitchen to help yourself to making a full breakfast or something lighter. Owner is extremely helpful and puts out an abundance of items you might have forgotten. Walking distance to cute downtown Camden and restaurants. Ez climb to Mt. Battie for an amazing view. This place made me want to live in this town!

To be fair, we picked this hotel because all the nicer ones had no vacancy. This is a bare bones renovated old motel with an outside door, you can hear your neighbors, no central air (unit in room cut on an off and room went warm to cool in a cycle) beds were hard with plastic covers that made noise when you moved. This is a great place for families and college crowd. There is a common area for you to use the kitchen and a den area with games like a hostel. It is very close to main area of Camden. Parking is tough so you can just walk from the motel which was a plus.

What a hidden gem, just like a B&B Generous amenities and breakfast items and coffee in the main part of the house, rooms are remodeled and very clean. Sitting area with games and books and comfy furniture, big outdoor patio with pear tree, gas grill, table and chairs. Big self service kitchen with water cool, ice machine, dishwasher, oven, stovetop and 2 fridges They provide cereals, bread, oatmeal, fruit, milk, coffee, condiments, nuts You can park and walk 10 Minutes to the charming waterfront of downtown Camden Only an hour and a half to get to Acadia NP from Camden Modern bathroom, firm beds, tv, ceiling fan and a front porch with 2 chairs

We only stayed here for one night for our trip to Acadia but it was so nice! There was definitely a lot of very nice and gaudy inns around the area but they are quite pricey. This motel had clean sheets, clean bathroom, smelled good and had lots of amenities to use in the shared space and was reasonably priced. When we arrived, the internet/wifi was not really working but the property manager was so kind and helpful and tried to help before she left for the evening. The WiFi was still cutting in and out but the close we were to the main room the better the WiFi was! Definitely one of the nicest motels we have stayed at and loved how intimate and centered around community it was. Would definitely recommend for short or even longer stays.

The room was very clean and the shower was great. The bed was more like a double than a queen. Expedia had it listed with breakfast included which was somewhat deceiving. It was barely a continental breakfast. Kitchen with cereal and bread for toast, some fruit. Baked goods were nonexistent. Parking was very tight.

Room was immaculate. Staff above and beyond. Feels like a community in respect to the shared kitchen; complete privacy iin each room. Chairs outside of each room to enjoy morning coffee with a pretty decent tree-filled view. As we left, the "owner's wife," (her words to introduce herself) asked if we saw the banana muffins she had made that morning. They looked delicious and she found a little bag for us to take one with us. I would stay here again in a heartbeat .
