Just a 5-minute walk from the beach, in the centre of Camogli, this contemporary apartment for 5 makes the perfect base for a fun holiday by the sea. It is on the third floor (with lift) of a smart modern block. Camogli is a picture-perfect resort town, built around a former fishing village. Nestling between the Ligurian hills and the Golfo Paradiso, the town is the perfect spot for a varied and relaxing vacation.

The airy apartment catches the sea breezes, as it is on the corner of the building so has windows on two sides. The spacious living/dining room is elegantly furnished with a sofa, armchair, and a flat-screen TV. French windows open onto the private balcony with a lovely view over the Ligurian Sea. The partly shaded balcony has chairs and a table for guests to relax with a cup of coffee or sundowners.

Back indoors, the dining room is at the other end of the living room. It has a dining table with chairs and a sideboard. The separate kitchen is newly fitted with modern units. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and a fridge/freezer. There is also a kitchen table with chairs for quick snacks.

Bedroom 1: The light-filled master bedroom has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The spacious second bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, drawers and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a comfortable single bed.

Location
Camogli is a quieter resort than its more famous neighours, Portofino or the towns of Cinque Terre, but there is plenty to enjoy here. Its colourful seafront is home to many excellent restaurants and bars. For self-catering, Camogli’s weekly market (Wednesday morning) is the best place to buy the freshest local produce and is just a 5-minute walk from the apartment. The town’s beach is free and popular with families.

Away from the coast, there are some spectacular hiking routes nearby on the promontory between Camogli and Portofino. Portofino is a 3-hour walk. Alternatively, the Abbey of San Fruttoso (2 hour walk) makes a lovely day trip. The abbey can only be reached by boat or on foot. Visitors can soak up the atmosphere of this peaceful spot.

There is a lot to do out on the water. Visitors can hire a boat in the old harbour (13 minute walk) or a kayak and explore this beautiful coastline.

Genoa’s International Airport is just a 40-minute drive from the apartment.
