Great Family Get Away

Sherri was an amazing host and her property was perfect for our family get away. Well appointed, many details included, perfect location, so much room inside and out. I would highly recommend this home for any season!

Fabulous location and lake view

The proximity to the town of Canadaigua was awesome and the view of the lake was breathtaking! The house was clean and quiet.

Great House

The house was beautiful & exactly as stated. We loved the hot tub and all the fireplaces. Plenty of space to relax and the kitchen was very well stocked.

Lovely!

We had such a wonderful time on our girl's weekend trip here!! Everything was clean and beautiful! We spent so much time snuggling up by one of the many fireplaces, and soaking in the hot tub. Perfect location for a girl's getaway!!

Beautiful and comfortable

We stayed at Lakeview Lodge for a family winter ski vacation. The lodge was perfect! Warm, spacious with beautiful rustic feel. We enjoyed fireplace, hot tub, cooking in kitchen, and sleeping in comfy beds. We looking forward to returning.

Happy New Year in the finger lakes!!!

Perfect way to start the new year with our family!!! Felt very cozy yet plenty of room for our family to stretch out. Even provided some Holiday decorations to help us feel in the spirit of the season. Great stay, hope to return again!!!

Wedding weekend:

The house is amazing, so spacious and comfortable! The view is spectacular, especially since the weather was beautiful. The kids loved the pool table! It was so convenient to town and driving along the lake road is beautiful. It was a perfect family weekend!!!!!

Beautiful place for a quiet getaway

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary with our two dogs and baby. The place was very clean and we loved the spacious kitchen with amenities. Our favorite part was the fenced yard with hot tub and a grill. We spent most of our time there, letting the dogs run around and enjoying the beautiful trees and views on the porch. We had a wonderful stay, and we hope to return soon.

Relaxing vacation!

Our family utilized every bit of this property- plenty of room. Front porch was great in the early morning & fire pit was a great place to end the day. The new kitchen is beautiful & stocked with anything one could possibly need! Perfect location - quiet & out of the way, yet a short drive to the lake, Wegman's & Scoops! Sherrie is a wonderful host!

Fall Retreat

Our extended family of nine (and two dogs) enjoyed a November break here. The house had ample space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing. The house has four fireplaces that make it ultra cosy! The hot tub was a bonus on cold mornings and clear nights. The host was extremely accommodating for our departure and arrival times and even ensured we had the right equipment with which to cook our turkey by shipping a new roasting pan. A very enjoyable stay with lots of space for the dogs to romp and roam!

Beautiful Retreat in the Finger Lakes Area!

This was our 2nd year at Lakeview Lodge and as always Sherrie is an excellent host! We love her home and enjoyed our time for our ladies wine weekend. All of the accommodations are very comfortable and welcoming. We had fun and relaxed with awesome views of nature and Canandaigua Lake. Some changes were made to the kitchen area and most of my girls realized and said wow what a nice change opening up more space in the kitchen and more seating for everyone. Love, love, love this place and plan on continuing to stay here for our annual wine weekend!

Fabulous Home in Canandaigua

We stayed from May 17 to May 22, 2016. The house offers plenty of room for our group of 12 male golfers. Near to several quality golf courses, yet still close enough to town to facilitate quick runs to stores, both food and drink. The large kitchen and dining area easily accommodated all of us at meal times. Beautiful grounds with a large fire pit area with lounge chairs, and a fantastic hot tub for the after-round aches and pains. The large outdoor deck with a huge propane BBQ allows for some lively evening conversations al fresco. Property is well kept and clean and requests for attention to minor issues were quickly dealt with. We are looking forward to our return visit, next year.

Wonderful Home for a Family Reunion

We stayed at Sherrie's Lakeview Lodge last weekend and had a wonderful time. Sherrie was helpful in making suggestions re: local points of interest, the directions were clear and she was immediately responsive to several specialized inquiries we made. The house was just as described. The lodge was clean and spacious, lending itself to large group family activities, but also offering a number of separate spaces to allow for board game playing, quiet reading, pool playing, "hot tubbing", and outdoor fire pit tending - all at the same time. The weather was lovely and coffee drinking on the front porch while watching the sun rise over the lake was a special memory. It is close to Bristol Mt. (less than 20 min. drive), a park for hiking (10 min. drive) and a great winery (15 minute drive). We hope to make our trip to the lodge an annual event!

Family Time Back East

The location of the Cabin was perfect for us, and we loved all the dog-friendly amenities for our 4-legged kids. Mu husband and I could take off right from the cabin for long road bike rides on quiet country roads, while our parents could drive 10 minutes to a wonderful park at the north end of Canandaigua Lake to walk by the lake-shore. We loved sitting on the lawn each morning enjoying the view of the lake, and being able to throw the ball for our dogs. We also loved how quiet the place was, as that is critical for us. We cooked in all but 1 night during our stay, as the renovated kitchen was just wonderful, and we also loved lighting a fire in one of the fireplaces during some of the evenings when Fall was in the air. Sherrie was absolutely wonderful to work with! She was incredibly responsive, and even ordered a few things for the house that we needed, as soon as we asked for them. She is one of the best, if not the best, owner I've worked with when booking through this site! Thank you Sherrie!

Perfect for a family getaway!

We had a perfect stay with our family (7 adults, 2.5 yr old and a 10 month old). The house is large enough for everyone yet spread out enough with multiple living rooms to afford some privacy and quiet (important when with the kids). There is a lovely, relaxing hot tub outside under the trees, and an awesome tree swing that the kids greatly enjoyed. We also used the grill 3 nights for nice dinners at home with everyone. The beds were so comfortable and we woke up to a gorgeous sunrise over the lake. On one morning the sunrise even brought with it a family of deer on the front lawn. Truly idyllic! The location is absolutely perfect! Only 10 minutes into town, 2 minutes to German Brothers marina (where we rented a boat), 10 minutes to start the wine trail, 20 minutes to Bristol Mountain (aerial park adventures). Last but not least, the owner was just wonderful. Very attentive with great communication. She made us feel so welcome and was always there to call if I had a question. Overall, a wonderful property and perfect relaxing vacation spot!

Girls Trip

The property sits back and you can see the lake from the front door.It was a picturesque view with the fireplace blazing and deer walking through the yard. It is enormous and the interior design of the place is amazing! The amenities are wonderful. Its everything you need for a long getaway or a group looking for a weekend stay.

Autumn Family Reunion
