Lovely

Just a quick overnight, but was a comfortable stay. Beautiful B+B and grounds. Had a little bit of road noise and the circle staircase was a bit scary at our ages, but neither were a reason to not return.

This was the cutest B&B that I have ever seen. The house was warm and spotless and the room was adorable. But what really put it over the top were all of the homey and thoughtful touches. The coffee station had a great selection of beverages, the little fridges were always stocked with water, and there was a small box in our room of things that we may have forgotten (a little sewing kit, tape, etc). It was so thoughtful and sweet. My husband and I are in the area a few times a year and we've already decided that we'll be back on our next trip.

Perfect for a quiet night away without the kids. Did not hear any other patrons. Only suggestion is provide a small pitcher or larger glasses for water since its out in the hall. Beautiful home and property.

The old house was fascinating, very unique. Check in was easy but alittle different in that we did not see anyone til the next morning. Breakfast was fantastic. I would recommend this B&B as long as you want peace and quiet.

Had a wonderful and relaxing evening and breakfast at Sutherland. Very much enjoyed the group setting for breakfast and meeting the other guests. The cook did a really great job rearranging to accommodate a couple that accidentally forgot to book breakfast and the meal was delicious. We love the Canandaigua area for a quick “day and a half trip” and will absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed 3 nights at the beautifully decorated Sutherland House. Breakfast was served each day by Nate and it was excellent! We met people traveling from a variety of locations which made breakfast even more entertaining. The location was in the quiet suburbs but convenient to many interesting attractions and restaurants. We highly recommend the Sutherland House.
