That Cottage by the Lake!!

This entire cottage is just what you are looking for if you are looking for an escape from the day to day work life. Lake rights let's you access the lake directly only a couple blocks away at the community beach as well as a boat/paddle board/ kayak launch. Full kitchen, charcoal grill, and fire pit available for use. Enjoy all Canandaigua has to offer with just a quick drive from multiple wineries, breweries, and hiking trails. Also very close to CMAC, and FLCC. Bristol Mtn only 30min drive!

5 stars on all measures!! Check-in was a breeze since door had code. House was very clean and so charming with lake house and fishing theme decor. Owners had clearly put loving care into the care and decor of cottage. My husband and sons loved making a fire in the backyard fire pit and cooking on backyard charcoal grill. My mom liked huge flatscreen TV and large fully stocked kitchen with new huge fridge. Fingerlakes and Canandiagua were beautiful. My son did a ski jumping “ Ramp Camp” at Bristol Mt and the rest of family really enjoyed the swimmingin the lake right down the block, the Roseland Water Park, The Wakeboarding Cablepark, Standup paddleboarding, paddleboating (Canandaigua Sailboards) and the beautiful Sonnenberg gardens moonlight stroll. I 100% recommend That Cottage by the Lake and Canandaigua!!!!!

This place was immaculate. I am a clean freak. It was stocked with everything we needed. Clean sheets/towels, kitchen basics, etc. Check in was a breeze. Communication was excellent. I loved the attention to detail and decorative motif. The beds were very comfortable. Although we didn’t use the fire pit, it was a nice addition. Outdoor space very was clean and neat. Even though not directly on the beach, access to water was approximately 200 yards downhill. No real beach there per se, but nice sitting area with short stairway to water’s edge. Window air conditioning unit in living room with fan assistance cooled the place nicely. (It was a very hot and humid weekend). Over all we were very pleased.

EVEN BETTER

This was our best VRBO experience yet! When we arrived, we were grateful that it was even better in person. Cleanliness is a must for me, and our host Ben did not leave a stone unturned-it was spotless! Giant modern TV, stainless steel appliances, new bathroom, and very comfortable living/sleeping areas. Convenient washer/dryer available on premise. Private beach at the end of the small street, or sit in the backyard around the fire pit. Very peaceful and quiet, yet close enough to town where everything is hopping. Check out Wegmans (best grocery store ever!), The Other Half Brewery, Lincoln on Main, or my favorites-Rose’s Tavern or the Sand Bar at the Lake House Hotel. Thank you, Ben, for going the extra mile for us by being so accommodating and easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to come back to That Cottage By The Lake!! J & R

Can't wait to go back to that Cottage by the Lake!!

What a great little rental. Comfortable spaces, sweet backyard with fire pit. Quiet neighborhood, easy access to the water. Walking distance to a terrific restaurant. We didn't want to leave.

Cottage was perfect for our girl’s weekend!

The cottage has really good use of space and is decorated adorably. The access to the beach/water was just beautiful and perfect! We loved the fire pit also. Highly recommend this spot!

Love this place!!

This place is so cute!! Adorable cottage which is so well decorated!! The master bed was so comfy . We had everything we needed for a great stay and the owner was so helpful. We really loved the backyard set up with the fire pit and plenty of wood . This place was 6 min down the road from CMAC and it was so easy to get to lot and get out and get back to our place! Wonderful time We will be back! A hidden gem

Nice spot, closeish to beach. We had 2 couples and one had to sleep in separate beds. Not tech savvy enough to manage the smart TV. Overall, we had a great time!

Stay on Canandaigua Lake

Great location for cmac concert and for visiting breweries, wineries, beaches and shops along the nearby lakes. House was a nice size for our group of four and was neat, clean, and very comfortable. Owner was easy to communicate with and provided us an easy check in and check out.

Fourth of July vacation

We enjoyed the cottage very much. The pictures were a little misleading about the bedrooms. They appear to be much bigger, but pictures can do that. It was a nice little walk to the beach. And we were able to find everything we needed in the cottage.
