I absolutely adored my stay at Haven Riviera. The property it self was very beautiful, well mantained and modern. The grounds were phenomenal, and although the beach/ocean could not be used due to the algea bloom, the 24/7 pull more than made up for it. I do have to say that the best part of my stay were the service people. They went above and beyond and always had a friendly smile. Some of the service people that made our stay perfect were Degner, Moises and even Jair to name a few. Although I don't remember his name, the guy from reception where we drop off our bags until our room was ready was also super friendly. We were treated like family.

The beach was covered in a malodorous seaweed that made the beach unusable. We were expecting to be able to swim in the ocean and we could not. The smell permeated the entire property, not just the beach front. It was a sulfuric odor mixed with the diesel engines of the construction going on next door.

This was our 2nd Visit to Haven and it was exceptional...again! We are a married couple in our late 30s early 40s and thought the overall atmosphere and ambiance was ideal for our age group. It was the perfect balance of fun and relaxation. Specifics: The facilities are clean, modern, and well-designed (easy to navigate, plenty of bathrooms/restaurants/accessibility etc.). The grounds are stunning as the resort is built around lush garden beds and foliage. The staff is probably the most noteworthy attribute of this resort. The staff as a whole are professional, attentive, enthusiastic, and hard-working. Food and Drink are plentiful and tasty. All of the drinks around the resort were consistently made and delicious. The variety offered food wise was varied, fresh, and flavorful. We upgraded to the Serenity Club at check-in for this second stay, and we believe it was worth the extra cost. The extra amenities, attention, alcohol upgrade, room upgrade, spa access made the choice easy! Finally, there is quite a lot to do at this resort in terms of entertainment. The main pool was always lively with activities and music. Each night there is a well-timed show that leads you right out of dinner into your evening. Each show ends with a DJ playing music if you want your night to continue! However, there were plenty of places to change the vibe if you needed more peace and quiet or a tamer nightly event concurrently going on. We thoroughly enjoyed this stay and will definitely be back!

For the high price we paid, this resort left much to be desired. Entertainment was severely lacking—there was only one casino night during our entire stay, and while it was fun, it lasted just two hours and never returned. Beyond that, there were no real shows or nightlife options to enjoy, which made the evenings dull. Dining was another disappointment. Most options were mediocre at best, and the one restaurant we genuinely liked was unexpectedly closed for the entire Friday evening. On top of that, it was frustrating to be unable to get simple items like salsa, shredded cheese, or a good steak. The beach was also a letdown. It was completely unusable due to the overwhelming amount of seaweed, and the smell was strong and unpleasant—definitely not the relaxing beach experience we had in mind. Overall, the resort did not deliver on the experience we were promised or paid for.

Amazing resort , great size. We just got the standard rooms, such a great size! The food was delicious, love all the variety of food and cocktails. Very pleased. Highly recommend! My husband is celiac , he had a good variety of food options! Would like more food options at the pool bar and the other outdoor restaurants, they didn’t have any GF options , which was very disappointing. Would have been nice to have other alcoholic beverage options in our mini bar fridge , only beer and pop. My husband can’t have beer. We called front desk but no one got back to us. Spa facility was beautiful, we had a great couples massage. Each for 60 min, wish we did 90 instead! One of the nicest spas I’ve been to at an all inclusive. The staff are great! Would like to give a shout out to a few people that made our trip very memorable : Moises( not sure if spelling is correct) at the pool bar , he kept the drinking flowing all day at the pool! He made the drinks himself and delivered them, non stop! Very impressed! Memo bell boy was great, he welcomed us and brought our luggage’s to the room. He gave a a tour of the hotel and a quick run down of the shows. He had such great energy! Edgar and Adrian at the main floor lobby bar were, ask for the Adrian gin cocktail , it’s dangerously delicious.

This was our second time coming to Haven Riviera but our first time using serenity club options and we absolutely loved it. The extra dining and private pool was amazing. The service provided by our butler Gabriel and our servers Luis and Samuel were outstanding. They took time to make connections and anticipate our needs. We couldn’t have been happier! Loved how close to the airport as well. Thanks to everyone for providing a much needed and relaxing vacation for me and my husband!

Service is amazing. They are really on top of requests. Swim out room was superb. Only bad part of the swim out room is people invading your space constantly. Food in the restaurants are not the greatest but it’s all inclusive. Shower is to die for and we will definitely be back.
