Beautiful island and a great hotel location. Everything is walkable, but it’s still worth renting a golf cart to explore more of the island. Definitely pay extra for the all-inclusive option — even if you plan to spend time off the hotel grounds, it’s worth it. There aren’t many clubs in the area, but there are plenty of restaurants, and a few play music late into the night. The hotel is adults-only. The staff are kind, and most are bilingual. Be sure to book your transportation in advance — from the airport to the ferry and then to the hotel. You’ll save a lot of money that way. Also, have some cash on hand; you won’t regret it. We stayed in a standard room with a balcony facing the street. It’s noisy during the day and quieter at night, but once you fully close the windows, it’s not an issue at all. You’ll sleep comfortably. The beds are big and comfortable, there’s decent closet and storage space, a safe for passports and valuables, yes you will have hot water , and yes room service checks in twice a day. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

We had an excellent experience from start to finish, staff was friendly and helpful. Property was clean and well maintained. The restaurants and all staff were amazing, we did the all inclusive option and enjoyed the selection and options every day with special events and meals to attend. The beach club, chairs and access was great as well with beautiful views! We hope to go again!

Housekeeping was amazing and so were the staff everywhere on the property. It was a fantastic trip. Will be coming back. Loved the view from our room. Hopefully we can have that view again.

Great stay - room was spacious and clean, mini-bar re-stocked daily, perfect location with gorgeous beach and steps from bars, restaurants & shops, friendly staff throughout the property, beautiful landscaping, good restaurants on site. The only negative was the bed - it wasn't very comfortable and moved excessively if you just rolled over gently. Everything else was fantastic! I would definitely recommend this hotel and plan to return in the future.

The room was very clean and the staff was great. The food was also wonderful, typically at an all closer resort. The food is subpar, but this resort had wonderful food! The location of the resort was also amazing! Beaches all around you very walkable to lots of fun, different bars and restaurants as well shopping…. The only downfall about the resort I would say it is very slow. Sitting at the pool, walking around the community. There are no activities. If you were looking for a very quiet resort and just hanging out, this is the place. If you’re looking for stuff going on, I would keep looking. Also, on other side note, the room was huge and really amazing but the bed was not that comfortable and our room was right off the main drive so we could hear music and always until 2 o’clock in the morning.

WOW!! Privilege Aluxes. You hotel was my husbands pick & honestly I didn't know what the expext. This was our first time here. We'll definitely be back & we miss you already!! Great room with a king size bed. Great place, very clean, loved the beach & pool area. Staff very friendly, great food on site, no small kids, close to shopping, other restaurants & absolutely lobed that Nobody was trying to push the sell of their time shares on to us. The only draw back as we did alot of time on the beach throughout the day alot of vendors were coming up to us trying to sell their merchandise. Having your beach roped off would help prevent this thus allowing your customers the relaxation they came there for. Thank you for a wonderful Holiday vacation.

We loved staying at Privilege Aluxes! They upgraded our room to the suite, overlooking the ocean. The rooms were very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were all really nice and helpful, and the food was really good too. Everything was very close and easy to get to. We would definitely stay here again!

The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with champagne upon our arrival. The resort is nice and conveniently located within a short walking distance of the downtown area with all the shops, bars, and restaurants. We opted for the all-inclusive option and there were several restaurants as part of the resort to choose from. The food was wonderful especially the breakfast from Playa Norte. We had one complaint that we shared with the front desk which was a bunch of small bugs in the room. We were in building one and our view was of the cemetery and another hotel. In speaking with other guests, they shared that they had issues in building one and got moved to other buildings that were much nicer. I would recommend asking for 4 or 6 based on what we were told.
