The villa is spacious with a lot of extras ie. Pin pong, toys and inflatables for kids etc. It's close to Barcelona (50 min by train). Close to the beach and train station (5min away).There are two downsides why I don't give it a 5 star:1. There is no AC and the kids were struggling at 38C in the house. Even us as aduts at night it was too much.2. The wifi coverage is just around the libing room.Overall good experience, very friendly host but the AC needs to be in place in my opinion.

A really fantastic place to stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this house. Josep and Rosa were brilliant hosts, so helpful and kind. The house offered everything we could wish for. It was immaculate and spacious, and on request Josep kindly found us weekly cleaners to help us keep it that way! We have a 4.5 year old and 1.5 year old and there was plenty of space for everyone, with a cot and high chair provided too. The steep hill down to the beach was fine with a pram and crossing the road to get to the tunnel was straightforward. The house turned out to be quite central for us - Canet and surroundings had plenty to offer both on foot and by car, and it was so useful to be 5 mins walk from the station, so 1 hr from BCN, and we explored villages/beaches to the north too. The children loved the pool, the indoor space and the trees behind the house - the barbecue was a highlight! There was even enough space for our extended family to visit. It was so convenient for us to be able to use the garage space for our piano as well as our car. The view from the house is amazing. We will definitely be considering returning next year! Thank you for being such great hosts.

Perfect family vacation

Very comfortable home, close to the beach and with all the commodities. We travelled with our kids ages 1, 4 and 7. The house has lots of space for entertainment, we felt like we didn’t have to leave the house at all. The pool area was great for the kids and adults alike. We really enjoyed having our meals sitting at the balcony table which had a wonderful view to the sea, or grilling and eating in the back yard which had a nice view to the town. This was the perfect place to reunite with my family. Rosa and Josep were very attentive and responsive. We would absolutely consider coming back!

Dejligt poolhus med fantastisk udsigt

Vi var en gruppe på 8 personer som tilbragte 9 skønne dage i dette dejlige hus. Huset er på 3 plan og indrettet rigtig godt, med badeværelser på alle plan og et ekstra køleskab i kælderen nær poolen. Poolen var ren og pæn blev flittigt benyttet hver dag. Udsigten var vidunderlig, man kunne se ned på stranden og høre bølgernes brusen. Byen var lidt mindre end vi regnede med til gengæld var den ikke overfyldt med turister. Der var et dejligt supermarked få minutters gang fra huset. Vi fandt også et dejligt pizzaria, der absolut kan anbefales Pizzeria Piccoloso, dejlig mad og den flinkeste betjening. Togstationen er kun få min. gang fra huset. Vi kan anbefale at tage en tur til Calella. Det tager ca. 10 min. Her finder man rigtig mange butikker og restauranter. Ligeledes er et besøg i Barcelona en stor oplevelse. Værtsparret var meget hjælpsomme lige fra vi ankom. De tog imod os ved toget sent om aftenen og var behjælpelige både med bagage og med at handle. Da vi skulle hjem igen hjalp de også med kørsel til lufthavnen. Huset var pænt og rent og vi følte os meget velkomne. Det kunne have været dejligt med aircondition i soveværelserne da vejret var meget varmt. Alt i alt en havde vi en dejlig ferie og huset levede fuldt ud op til beskrivelserne.

vi var 9 personer i 3 generationer der holdt en uges familieferie. Boligen var meget behagelig og dejlig rummelig til os alle. Børnene elskede poolen. Vi nød alle den skyggefulde have og den fantastiske udsigt. Canet de Mar er en hyggelig lille by med supermarkeder og små restauranter uden at være præget af tourisme. Stranden var tæt på, men man skulle forcere en stejl bakke for at nå hjem til huset. Josep og Rosa er de venligste og mest hjælpsomme værter, man kan ønske sig. Tusinde tak for jeres store hjælp og imødekommenhed.

¡Fin de Año!

Encontrar una vivienda con 5 dormitorios para un grupo de 8 amigos adultos, no es nada fácil. Buscábamos una casa que nos permitiera estar juntos en muchos momentos, pero que posibilitará también cierta intimidad si alguien la necesitaba. Al mismo tiempo, necesitábamos paz, tranquilidad y comodidad. Al fin la encontramos en Canet de Mar. Hemos disfrutado de una casa amplia, confortable en todos los aspectos y con un magnífico entorno muy cuidado. Este chalet posee todo lo necesario para sentirse a gusto: es muy luminoso, con magníficas vistas, muy bien equipado en todas las estancias y de una extrema limpieza. Está muy bien amueblado y decorado con gusto. La cocina es muy amplia y con todos los electrodomésticos y enseres necesarios. Los propietarios son muy amables y pacientes, detallistas y dispuestos a solucionar cualquier problema si lo hay. Hemos pasado una muy feliz estancia y, si se puede, repetiremos. Isabel, Núria, Eveli, Maria, Ferrán, Philippe. Miguel y Gina.

A superb house with a superb location and sea view

We had an amazing time in Josep and Rita's house in Canet de Mar. We were 7 people, 3 grown ups and 4 children in the house, and there were plenty of room. Josep and Rita were extremely helpful and even drove us to the airport on the day of our departure. Can't recommend it enough.
