Little to no lighting in parking lot and staircase. Most lights were burned out. Broken board on staircase resulting in a large tear in the carpet. Extreme tripping hazard. Staff only there in the late afternoon.

I booked this hotel for my anniversary on Sept 1st for one night and I paid about $520 and I checked in at 4:30pm. Unfortunately I received a phone call from back home edmonton at around 7:30pm that my mother ended up in the hospital and of coursed I packed everything and left for 8pm to go back home. I talked to the staff at the front desk about this very special and unfortunate situation - and since I used the room for less than 4 hours I asked if they could do anything for me for the future to come back and enjoy Canmore once again.. they offered me nothing… not even a discount for the next time.. this is was obvs a very special and unfortunate situation and I an sure it doesnt happen often… they lost a customer for the lack of sympathy.

The view was not as advertised. The hot tub was not that easy to access.

The room with a view was not as advertised you had to see it through a window next to the bathroom. The location was good and the room was clean.

My boyfriend and I spent our anniversary here and it was a super cute cozy room. The view was amazing through the front and back window and it's located right on main street. I definitely recommend staying here!

At the beating heart of Canmore!

This place cannot be beat for it's fantastic centralized location in Central Canmore!! Quite literally just steps away from multiple restaurants art galleries and places of interest. And all of that walkable from your homebase here at the lamp house.
