Indoor Pool/Waterslide/Hot Tub! 2BR/2BA Condo (King+Queen)

  • Welcome to your Rockies Retreat, 2 BR 2 BA condo, located in the heart of Canmore!

    ** Please note that the pool will be undergoing renovations from April to June. The pool will be open during this time. But there is potential for noise and workers present outside our bedrooms windows during this time.**

    We love our place in all seasons, with its amazing pool and hot tub, and easy access to hiking, biking, skiing, and the shops, pubs and grub in and around Canmore! Great family unit. Located near the hub, with amenities within walking distance. Wake up with your coffee supplied by local Eclipse Coffee, and smell the fresh scents of our Rocky Mountain Soap Company soaps and shower products.


    *To respect our cleaner’s and arriving guests’ schedules, please do not request early check ins and/or late check outs and be mindful of the check in (4:00pm) and check out (11:00am) times.

    **We will charge an additional cleaning fee for stays of 10 days and longer.

    **We are not responsible for items left behind in the unit. We will not mail or ship any forgotten item.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
If you purchased Bear Spray, DO NOT LEAVE IT IN THE UNIT. You will be charged $125 for us to dispose of it and you could be liable for improper use.
The thermostat must be left on. When heating the unit never above 24 degrees and never below 20 degrees when cooling it.
If you used the pullout couch, strip the sheets, before folding it back. Leave the sheets out for our cleaners to launder. Do not return the sheets to the bed bag.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

The place was stocked with anything you could want. Didn't have time to try the pool but it looked great. Great location. Traveling with 4 people and spending 2 nigts was a lot cheaper then 2 rooms in a motel [longer stays would have been even cheaper]. Definitely a great place to stay.

Everything was great with the room except the hvac control. The unit utilizes a chilled water loop supplied by the main building and at the time of our stay it wasn’t turned on yet for the year. This meant the room was very hot and uncomfortable (around 27*C) even with all the windows open. For a listing like this, you definitely expect good hvac. The half a day the building ran the hvac chillers(Friday afternoon), the room could only get down to 22/23*C however, the giant condenser fan for the building AC system is located right below the balcony and it’s very loud. These types of issues should be more transparent in the booking or reflected in the price when they aren’t functioning properly. Resort amenities including the pool and restaurant were great!

Great Location

We had a great stay, check-in process was so easy and having an underground parking stall was fantastic. The apartment had everything we needed and our 7 year old loved the pool. We especially loved the location, being only a short walk into town. We’d happily stay again!

You can tell the owners put a lot of thought into this property. It literally had everything we needed and more. The restaurant down below was a perfect walk in case we didn’t want to cook. And the kids loved the swimming pool area. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location and pool

The place was exactly as advertised. The pool is great (although the water slide was a bit fast for our shy little one), and the indoor/outdoor hot tub is great on a chilly day. We love going across the street for bagels in the morning, and like that you can walk almost anywhere from the unit. Tv took a bit of fiddling with to get it connected, but we figured it out. It would have been nice to have a tv in the primary bedroom. Great stay and we will be back!

Fabulous unit

We had a fabulous vacation with my parents. It was their dream to visit the Rockies in Banff. You helped realize their dream. Failure to disclose: This unit is in a horrible location - not the owner's fault, but it was NOT disclosed. The roof outside is under construction (over four months) and there is construction trash on the roof (10 feet from the balcony and bedrooms) with workmen about (Keep the blinds down.), a 10x20 foot reeking trash bin below, a port-a-potty right of the balcony and a rumbling compressor under the balcony. Balcony is not usable. Thermostat rules permit only 66 degrees F and turned off, the smell creeps in. Fireplace doesn't work. Only one operating elevator (as far from the car as you can go) was disclosed only a few days before the lease started and they knew a month before. This is NOT a unit for a disabled veteran like me (I did disclose that). The washer is broken (Their posted sign says just pull up.) and the wood planks are separating but no outdoor shoes are allowed. Take indoor ones as bare feet stick to the floors and socks get dirty. There was dried blood on the back of the king-size comforter which the owner is now accusing us of doing. The DVD player is on the bottom shelf of the corner bookcase and not hooked up. We found it after five days. Plus side - of all the units I've rented, this was the best equipped kitchen and there were plenty of clean towels, etc. Games, toys, books and guidebooks. Pride of ownership shows, but the owner needs to invest money in new floors, cleaning same and corners, fixing the washer, replace the comforter.
