“From the pool to the restaurant to the rooms, everywhere has a stunning view! You can wander the paths to the wetlands and see so many species of birds! But, I’ve also seen coati, howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, a staghorn beetle, iguanas, and loads of tropical flowers and butterflies! You really doing have to go anywhere to see so much! “Hotel Villa Drake is a lovely small family run hotel at the top of the small town. The family are very friendly and happy to help, they cooked us a fresh breakfast every morning, even when we needed it at 5:20am. They arranged tours for us and the father is also a taxi driver so took us to the airport at the end of our trip for a reasonable price. It is very easy to walk to shops, restaurants and the beach and we saw wildlife from our window everyday. There were even cappuchins playing on the……

“We had a great 6 nights at Casa Gitana, we had a lovely room with a shady private patio, our room was cleaned everyday and the staff were great. Breakfast was included and there is a restaurant for lunch and dinner. It's a short walk to the beach and many tours can be organised at the hotel. Thanks. ”

“This lovely hotel, in the tiny, unpretentious village of Drake Bay, was wonderful. I am an amateur wildlife photographer. The manager gave me Room 1, with an enormous window that looks out onto a guarumo tree. In this tree arrived, in turn, a toucan, a pair of aracaris, tanagers, tityrus, caracaras, golden-naped woodpeckers, multiple iguanas, hummingbirds - it was simply incredible. I took the best pictures I've ever taken. The pool and the bar are nice, and everyone is friendly. Just one……

“This has been one of best places I have ever stayed in my entire life. The place was beautiful, the park is out of this world, but most importantly, what made our stay all the more enjoyable was the incredible staff that was always there to help us and guide us with our trip. ”
