“This rental was very close to the bird watching tours that we did. It was clean and quiet. We did not use the cooking space but it has everything that you would need. ”

“Rooms are clean, neat and pretty. There are three bedrooms and enough room for our family (2 adults and 3 kids). The road leading from the main street to the house is narrow, steep, and winding, making driving a bit challenging. A smaller vehicle with four-wheel drive and decent driving skills will be necessary. The location is nice. Just 20-30 minutes to Cartago. We had a good time there!”

“The front desk did not have our reservation and we waited outside a locked gate in a rainstorm for about 10 min. The reception was not warm. We felt like an inconvenience. Even though they have a restaurant it was closed until breakfast. They offered to drive us to town (far away) for dinner. “This is very quiet secluded location located about 1 mile in on a dirt road that really is not near anything. If you're looking for peaceful get away from everyone and everything location this is exactly right for you. The restaurant has a great view overlooking the lake but unfortunately the staff notified me that the lake is owned entirely by the electric generating company and that you're not allowed to use the lake in any way shape or form. “The property was completely rundown, we were the only guests. One of the rooms had a lizard inside , the fans were broken and noisy . The only thing was the staff ( Walter ) was very helpful and tried his best .”

“El personal fue muy amable, pero tuvimos problemas con la televisión por cable, prácticamente no funcionó durante nuestra estadía, la habitación estaba ok, pero la ducha era casi imposible de regular, o tiraba agua muy caliente o tiraba agua muy helada, el desayuno no era rico y los plátanos maduros eran servidos helados, el resto si tenía una temperatura adecuada. En general el resto estuvo bien, solo con las observaciones antes mencionadas.”
