The room was clean and prepared, however, there was no in-room coffee/tea available as there was no coffee maker. We found that the TV remote was missing. When we inquired at the desk, we were given a remote and the cover for the batteries did not fit. It was clearly to a different remote. The clerk stated that he remote was found in the laundry and must have been mixed in bedding from the room. Normally, I would see this as basic, honest mistakes, however, when I find an envelope on the bed making a request for gratuities for the cleaning staff, I find this very comical. I would think that a basic room check before declaring the room 'ready' for the next customer would be expected.
