Kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Beautiful home but you aren't walking to the lake so that was the only downside.

Beautiful and convenient

Check in was easy, location perfect for all things you want to see/do. Lake was low so unable to swim there but the house has everything you need to have a fun getaway. Will def book again.

Relaxing retreat

Given the weather kept us from enjoying the lake we had fun at the house. The pool kept the kids busy and the many sleeping arrangements allowed space. We plan to stay here again later in the year.

Wonderful getaway

The property was lovely. So much space a beds inside, kitchen was great. And the outside entertainment areas were phenomenal. Beds were comfortable. Definitely want to come back here again.

Birthday gathering in Canyon Lake, Texas

Arrived at this beautiful home which was very clean and had plenty of pots/pans for cooking. The property was absolutely spectacular. I hope to return in the future, the bedrooms, bathrooms and living area all very clean and great size. The pool and backyard was just stunning. I cannot say how gorgeous this place was, you just have to see it. For sure will stay again!

Great getaway for the weekend

Great for two but clearly large enough for a large family. Beautiful pool and sceneries to take in. Also enjoyed the jaccousi and outdoor tv, great for college football. Burn ban was in effect so we didn't take advantage of the fire pit but would have. Overall great stay. Masterbath took 5+min for water to heat up, but other than that, excellent.

Perfect weekend away in Central Texas!

I wanted to treat my husband and his brother to a special birthday weekend with our friends. The Hill Country Vibe was perfectly located for our group with everyone coming together from Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. The pool, hot tub, and charcoal grill, along with the outdoor dining and entertainment areas set the stage for a relaxing and celebratory weekend. The property manager was incredibly helpful and quick with communication whenever we had questions. With all the amenities, we didn’t want to leave, and can’t wait to go back!

Wedding trip

Stayed the weekend due to wedding near by. Family with a couple dogs. Love house layout & master bedroom perfect. Comfy bed & pillows. Pool was nice, but too cold for anybody to try. Clean & nice inside. Only issue we had was could not get either plug in master bathroom to work. GFI outlet would not even set. Acts like no power to them. Was a good trip

Beautiful backyard! Perfect for summer

Check in was easy house manager was quick with responding. Not much kitchen wear but was doable, they let us know to clean before we leave and that’s also doable with what the house had, dish soap and toilet paper no paper towels. For the price of the house I was confused with how little to no amenities. I believe they ask so much money because they have a beautiful backyard pool and jacuzzi. We all had such a great time! In a great location 3 minutes from the store so if the house doesn’t have something or you forget something it’s just down the road.

Perfect for family getaway

The moment we opened the front door we realized we had chosen the perfect house for our family. House was immaculate. Very nicely decorated and extremely spacious. When we saw the listing said it was about 1700sqft. we had our doubts but the layout is so spacious that we even had spare rooms. The pool and the outdoor kitchen were awesome, exactly what we were looking for. The spot for roasting marshmallows was a plus. The only thing we were displeased with was that the master bath did not have warm/hot water. We showered in cold water all three mornings. Other than that, everything about this stay was perfect!

Everything you need

We had plans to go to the lake, but the property was so awesome there was no need to leave! The pool is large and deep, I think about 6 feet. There is shaded and sunny spots to sit on the patio. The layout of the outdoors was perfect. The hot tub is elevated with a great view while sitting inside it. We had a group of three adult couples, no kids. There was plenty of room to sit and watch a movie after dark. The only bummer was we were not allowed to use the fireplace in the summer even though it was pouring rain. We also tripped a breaker by turning on the dryer, which knocked out the wifi, but the company called me back right away with how to fix the power. Great time overall.

Worse experience Vrbo .

It is an old property but you can have a clean property anyway , bathroom need update but the master bathroom shower it is very dirty, and in our arrival we have pictures of trash in the floor , it is cobwebs everywhere, the trash container was full , the patio is dark because only barely light work, just like 5 or 6 total . So we have to take out our own trash because the container in the bbq area was already full , when you open the rooms smell like humedy , the communication was good but I think someone have to supervise the cleaning before guests arrive, total this is my worse experience in Vrbo .

Family 2023

The house was great with plenty of rooms & linens. The patio was very roomy with enough space to spread out. The pool was perfect size but waterfall to pool was out of service, if you like float in pool you need to bring your own supplies. The hot was fantastic. If you have a pet, plenty of room out door for them to run within fenced yard. Fire place was great for making s’mores. We found there was not enough of cooking wears, utensils & Trash bag. The outdoor trash can was already 1/2 full so we didn’t have room for all trashed collected We brought all we needed to cook with and clean up. Dish soap, pods for dishwasher & Lysol wipes. The house is closed to Dollar general & a groceries store. I found it very helpful when staying at other rentals a book with information about Thermostat, fireplace, the pool, about the outdoor lighting about the garage

Not very good

The first thing you notice walking to the front door are the broken walkway lights and dead plants. I know its Texas in the summer but have someone remove dead plants and broken lights before guests arrive. Walking into the living room you notice the trim/transition from the lamenated floor to the kitchen tile is broken and missing large sections. The view to the back yard patio pool area is ruined by the dirty glass door. The general cleanliness of the house is not there. Multiple cobwebs are all around the doors, ceiling and windows. Going outside to the right is a grill and sink area. It looks nice until I found an empty beer can in the sink. The back yard had trash and newspapers around. Obviously the newspapers did not just blow in, they were faded and had been there awhile. There was nets/scimmers for the pool that were just thrown by a little pond to the left. Dog poop was evident in the yard. By the ping pong table were the remnants of old discarded paddles just thrown on the ground and rotting. There was no hot water in the master bathroom even after a guy came out to reset the hot water heater. The dishwasher was not secured in the kitchen area and would move around. I have pictures of everything thing and sent them to the property management. The response I received was sorry for the inconvenience, have a nice day. This was the worst Vrbo experience me and my family have ever had with a property. Some type of partial refund is definitely in order

Outstanding Place to Stay!

4.8 STARS! The outdoor oasis was a hit! We brought our little dogs & it was perfect. The fenced in area gave the dogs their own gigantic space to explore. They loved being outside all weekend. Our kids had a blast. The pool and hot tub was the best we've ever privately enjoyed. The grotto and waterfall was fun for the kids to play on. The backyard was beautifully maintained and having an outdoor TV and couch was great for watching college and NFL football while still keeping an eye on the kids. The indoor space was perfect for us and the kids. Even the dogs had their own room attached to the master. The owners converted a front closet to a small bedroom/nursery which would be perfect for a baby. There are three other bedrooms with king sized beds in two and bunk beds in the front bedroom/office. There is a cool arcade game with a few old school games so this front room is perfect for a pair gamers. The garage housed the laundry room and would make for a great space for the kids to hang out if the owners turned it into a game room. During hot days this would make for a good source of entertainment. There are only two bathrooms in this house so if you plan on bringing more than 5 guests it will get crazy around sharing the bathroom(s) but we managed just fine. The kitchen is short on cookware so check before you go to the grocery store. There wasn't any salt for cooking which was a tad surprising seeing that is normally a no brainer. A Keurig coffee machine would be a great addition but the standard pot was fine. We love this side of Canyon Lake for the proximity to the nearest grocery store. It's a 1min drive from the house and has everything you need w/ great beer selection. There is also a gas station, donut and taqueria 1min away, Italian, BBQ & liquor store beer garden all 1min away along w/ Sonic for fast food. The main Canyon Lake Marina is located down the street where you can rent boats & jet skis for a fun time on the lake. That's what we did. We also enjoyed a day at a local beach that is located as you drive toward the Marina. They charge $20 per car load & you can bring your own canopy, chairs, coolers & also BBQ on the provided grills. The parking lot is first come first serve w/ covered picnic tables that go fast. Hours you can find online. Overall the house quality, location, pool/hot tube/outdoor living and the bed sizes are PRIME. You won't find many short-term rental homes this close to the lake so book this one now!
