Tranquilo y bien ubicado
Si la idea es alejarse y estar en silencio este es el lugar perfecto, la piscina está muy bonita mi hijo la disfrutó bastante y la playa esta bien, la mantienen muy limpia y segura. Las habitaciones son cómodas, la cama relajante. Hay un jacuzzi y la habitación tiene cocina y los utensilios, realmente muy práctico. No doy todos los puntos por esos pequeños detalles que me disgustaron bastante: primero el personal es amable.. Muy amable de hecho, pero saben muy poco de la zona, así que no saben recomendar, no hay personas que conozcan de tours y los folletos en el lobby estan viejos. En mi habitación faltó el agua caliente, lo solicite una vez y lo repararon de inmediato, sin embargo, al otro día volvió a fallar y no hicieron el mínimo intento de repararlo o cambiar mi habitación.. No les importó. Tuve un problema de parqueo con un inquilino propietario, el hotel me asignó un espacio que ya era privado avise del problema y me asignaron otro. Además no había desayuno ni restaurante, ofrecían un traslado gratuito a uno cercano, no fuimos pues no tuvimos tiempo. Lo recomiendo para los que pasan la mayor parte del tiempo fuera del hotel y llegan a este a descanzar y pasar un rato de descanso en la piscina.

Very good properties, stayed in 2 different rooms, very specious and we'll equipped. Minor issues like back door didn't close properly, but overall great stay. It is very quiet, if that is what you are after is perfect. Breakfast is good and staff are nice, it does take a while, you have to wait.

The property is beautiful, quiet, with a large room and a high ceiling. Gorgeous views. Maria, the front desk attendant was incredibly helpful. The drawback about this place is how far it is from the true center of Punta Cana. It's about 30 minutes away and a taxi to downtown will cost $40 one way. We decided to get a rental car for $70 instead since it has free parking. A few minor things that were bothersome included the fact that there's no phone in the room, the shower did not drain properly, the lock box did not work, the power outlets by the bed did not work.

Great Place to Stay
The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The pool area was very nice. The beach had a lot of seaweed, but it could have been this time of year. Breakfast was good. I stayed on two different occasions and was very pleased overall. The hospitality offered by Maria was awesome. Be sure and visit the API restaurant and beach area - this is included in your stay at Punta Palmera Cap Cana.

The property was out of the way and it felt like a ghost town. There was a lot of work going on at the property and one whole side of it was in complete disrepair and looked like the work had been abandoned long ago. The beach chairs were all broken. When I brought this to the attention of management they refused to acknowledge that more than the lobby was being repaired. When I walked outside I could look up to other balconies and see holes in them. The parking garage was leaking all over. With all of this being said, I found the resort to be safe and quiet. The kitchen sink was so tiny that it was totally inadequate for washing dishes. Paper towels or napkins were not provided. The tap water was not suitable for drinking which I didn’t know until we arrived. After the cleaning service our room smelled like a dead rat. Marisimo (?) was very kind and helped us with some excursions. He is a great person, which is the only reason for the 2 stars. I don’t believe the price was fair for the resort. I would hesitate to book here again without fully investigating the area and state of the property.

El lugar esta muy bien, esta todavia bajo contrición la playa le falta mantemiento, la segunda playa frente a Epi restaurante esta muy bien, le falta señalización dentro Cap cana en general, la marina esta muy bien un poco over price en los restaurantes los precios son como si fuera un restaurante en New York, los precios en los menús son en $ pero presentan la factura en moneda local lo cual no tiene logica para mi.

En general bien, pero noté poca señalización en el area de Cap Cana y nos perdimos para llegar, al igual que el letrero del Condominio y Recepción poco visibles. Nos hospedaron en un apartamento un poco alejado de los parqueos y durante la noche sufrí de un fuerte dolor de cabeza, no tenia ningún tipo de analgésico y no supe a quien recurrir pues el area es un poco solitaria. En otra ocasión quizás lo pueda disfrutar.

We stood at Punta Palmera for 6 days and loved every second of it! It was our first visit to Dominican Republic and we couldn’t of chose a better place to stay. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the airport, and is within a gated property. Which means it’s super safe, but a little far from activities or stores. However the hotel provides 3$ cabs wherever you need to go inside the vicinity or information to help schedule pick up dates or times outside the hotel. Punta Palmera itself is huge, although it is still under construction, the rooms are beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Every single person at Punta Palmera was super polite, kind and accommodating. If you’re worried about the language barrier, they have people who speak both Spanish and English. The hotel also excepts USD so you don’t have to worry about converting your money. If you’re looking for a quiet hotel within a safe community with a wonderful staff, breathtaking views of the ocean, huge rooms with full size kitchens and even a jacuzzi this is the place for you. Overall we had an amazing time, and would be visiting again shortly.

I don’t understand how this hotel have so many good reviews. If you are planning to stay here, DON’T! I made a reservation for my boyfriend’s birthday, I am Dominican (so I understand that Cap Cana is a good area) and my boyfriend lives in North Carolina. I wanted to do something special for him so I booked from Feb 7th to Feb 10th, 2019. Worst experience ever!! First off they didn’t give me the room that I booked. There was a situation with the hot water. No internet in the room (I was supposed to close a deal to build a website and I couldn’t). There is a construction going on, hammering and drilling all day long! Unbelievable. We rented bikes and they were broken, they refused to give us a full refund for bikes we had to return. (By their logic we used the bikes for one hour, each hour was $5 dollars=$10, we paid $50, they returned only $30. When I tried to explain to them the amount was $40 because “mathematics” the Manager shut me up) The breakfast was awful, we didn’t even bother to eat at the restaurants there. The cleaning staff was very polite and helpful and so were the security guards. But the General Manager Mauricio was very rude, he was unapologetic and I think he was even trying to get us more upset! I have never had such a bad experience. No wonder why the hotel was empty! The beach is not clean due to the construction that is going on... the chair longs at the beach are broken. NEVER AGAIN! They gave us a good room the last night and also told us there woul
