XII century farmhouse on the hills above Lucca with chef. Only local food.
10/10 Excellent
"Our host was simply wonderful! I cannot say enough good things about this experience. This was a delightful gathering of friends in Lucca. I definitely recommend having Monica cook a meal for you one night while you stay- you will not be disappointed. I also recommend buying some of Monica's cheeses to enjoy while you are there- they pair perfectly with local meats, and you cannot get fresher cheese than this. Hospitality and responsiveness was wonderful- and they have many great insights on things to experience in the area. This was truly a wonderful and special visit."
"The weather didn’t permit much time in the pool (it was somewhat chilly) but when we did use the pool, it was fabulous. The house was very comfortable and basic amenities were provided. The property manager, Franco, was wonderful. He responded immediately to calls or emails and recommendations were terrific."

"We were 8 adults touring Tuscany and what a fantastic place to stay. We had tons of room, the kitchen is a chef's dream, and the pool was wonderful. The host was great at communication, and helped up find a number of restaurants and wineries.Checkin was easy, and the Villa was exactly as presented in the listing. If you have a small or large group I give this 5 thumbs UP!!!"
"Isabella is a gift. Small misunderstanding on check in as to where the property was but handled well. Location was private and just what we wanted and expected "
Casa / villa con piscina privata con acqua salata wifi A/C 7 Km da Lucca

"Beautiful property overlooking the stunning pine forest. Very peaceful with just the sound of the church bells in the distance. The outdoor space worked very well for us with teenagers who spent lots of time in the pool and there was enough shade to shelter from the mid day sun. The interior of the house is very tastefully decorated and the air conditionining worked very well. We made use of the outdoor pizza oven and the local restaurant was amazing and well worth a visit. The hosts were exceptional, so friendly, kind and accommodating to our needs. The nearby Lucca is only 20 minutes away and a beautiful place to visit - we rented bikes and rode around the top of the city wall and also enjoyed many gelatos! We would highly recommend this property. "
"Great pool area. One of the best we’ve been to.Had all seven rooms. Almost in Lucca and just 30 mins from Pisa airport. Hosts exceptionally helpful throughout our stay. Maid service included. Exceptional. "
Charming country house on the hills north of Lucca with stunning view
10/10 Excellent
"Our family of six (five adults and a baby) just returned from a truly unforgettable 7-night stay at this extraordinary country house north of Lucca. The views are simply breathtaking...rolling hills, ancient churches, and a medieval hamlet stretch as far as the eye can see, and no photo can capture the magic of sitting by the infinity pool at sunset. The house is a beautifully restored 1700s farmhouse that blends authentic Tuscan charm with modern luxury. Every corner is immaculate and thoughtfully designed. The living spaces are spacious and inviting, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the bedrooms are elegant, comfortable, and serene. Staying here feels like inhabiting a true Tuscan mansion. Our hosts, Dario and Monica, were beyond welcoming. Their warmth, attentiveness, and helpful guidance made everything effortless and enhanced every aspect of our stay. From al fresco meals on the patio to peaceful strolls through the nearby medieval village, every moment felt magical. This property is the ultimate Tuscan retreat, perfectly combining beauty, comfort, and authenticity. We cannot recommend it highly enough and are already dreaming of our next visit."

"Beautiful property in great location. Car rental highly suggested as few taxis and could get very expensive. Top floor large bedroom needs mirror and air conditioning on top floor large bedroom is not sufficient unless used with fan. "
