「Sara is a cook and makes the breakfast. There were delicious homemade pastries as well as standard fare such as yogurt, scrambled eggs, juice and coffee/tea.」

「Amazing personnel always taking great care of you, the place is 20 min. Drive from Montalcino, has well maintained pool, breakfast very good, laundry available and restaurant in site. Self-parking area. Great location if you want to disconnect and enjoy breathtaking views of the Tuscany area.」

「Innanzitutto l’hotel è all’interno di un antico borgo, in un edificio storico perfettamente riadattato situato su una piccola collina con una vista panoramica della natura toscana. Il servizio alla reception impeccabile, le stanze molto curate e pulite. La colazione salata e dolce presenta una grande varietà di scelta. All’interno anche un ottimo ristorante con servizio accurato e attento. Parcheggio riservato per gli ospiti. Veramente una bella sorpresa! Più di quanto mi aspettassi. 」

「This is the first night we stayed in Toscana. The hotel is a real castle located on the top of the hill. The beautiful landscape of agricultural view seen from the hotel was panoramic and breathtaking. The family suite was cozy, containing one living room and two bedrooms. The thermal swimming pool was fantastic and spa center was amazing. Breakfast was flourish. The dinner was also good but overpriced actually. As a whole, I highly recommend staying in Catello di Velona as you visit Toscana.」

「The room is big and the city is lovely. but it's really really troublesome to park the car due to the hotel is located in ZTL zone. You have to park your car somewhere outside of the old town, and walk to the hotel to figure out how to park, then get a green card from the reception to display it on your windshield to avoid being fined by the police when drive in to unload the luggage, then drive out of the old town to find a parking space, then walk back to the hotel (6-8 mins walk).
