Amazing location. If you’re driving to Pienza, make sure you message the hotel to get instructions on what the parking options are as you can’t drive anywhere near the hotel with your bags.

Great place to stay in Penzia, location can be a bit tricky to find as most of the evenings driving is not aloud to the entrance. Just a short walk from the square. Follow parking instructions from host as there is none on site. Breakfast is great, did not have a chance to dine for dinner but menu looked really good. Great town to stay in, will be back.

The staff was really nice especially when we had a situation with other guest: During night they played loud music outside their room, yelled and when we told them respectfully to be calm, one of them spitted on us. I don’t know what happens to them after this night, but we got a better room the next morning. All in all the hotel is okay, but pretty old, the furniture as well. They have pictures of a terrace online which belongs to a restaurant and could only be used when this was closed. There was no other comfy area outside to relax

We booked nine months earlier but were given probably the worst rooms. Ours was right next to a restuarant bar which was noisy until midnight and the rooms above were noisy. The double glazing was totally inaffective at blocking sound. Our daughter's room was on the far side of the hotel and couldn't receive wifi or phone reception and the staff simply said the walls were too thick. Would never stay there again.

The property is really really old. As in, not just from outside, but everything inside too. The furniture is so old that you won’t prefer putting even your clothes on it. The bed & mattress wasn’t comfortable at all. The only good thing is the location and the view from the property in the morning. Pienza is so small that you can easily look for a property just outside the walled area.

We booked a deluxe room with a hill view and was given a room that was facing a garden, no hill at all. I spoke to the lady at the desk in the morning insisted it was the right room when it was not. We checked in very late due to some accident on the road and the hotel assured us it’s still ok to come. We decided to still go and looking forward to the view when we wake up but instead were looking at the wall and ground of the building. We paid for what we booked and should have received it no matter what the time. The lady said well it was very late and that was the only room available! It doesn’t make sense.
