不滿：整潔度、設施服務和住宿狀況
The “cottage” was definitely not as advertised. It was rated well, which is very deceiving. It was dirty, dilapidated and the shower was something out of a horror movie. Mold had taken over. Expedia and VRBO should take a good hard look at how they vet their listed properties.
But that was the good part. Approximately 11 pm, there was a knock at the front door. There were 3 gangbangers standing there expecting us to let them in. I yelled “occupied” out the door, they mumbled something and left. Within 2 minutes, around the corner from the house, was a long string of automatic gunfire. We hit the deck and dialed 911. Immediate police response, but this is NOT an acceptable situation. These men were familiar with the property, and the door lock is a pushbutton code. No idea if they knew that code or not.
We immediately vacated and got a hotel room for the rest of our stay. We are demanding a refund as there is simply no way this property should be listed as a vacation rental.
