"Excellent location! A block from the beautiful beach and walking distance to Washington Street Mall where more shops and restaurants are located. The Bedford Inn was very homey, providing a relax and cozy feeling to the home. It was very clean and our room was nicely updated yet maintaining a Victorian charm. We enjoyed our coffees (very good coffee) in the open front porch rocking chairs and the breakfast in the enclosed porch. We greatly appreciated the bicycles, beach towels and chairs provided by the Inn. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. It was a bonding weekend well spent with my daughters and will definitely return again."

"Beach chairs, umbrella, and towel were very convenient. Our room was right across from the beach . The room was clean and came with a mini fridge which is great for drinks and snacks . The room was ok and view was not the best but it worked for our long weekend stay . The pool is large but I did not like how the parking lot wrapped around the pool .. however this isn’t a big deal if you are here for the beach anyway . Overall this hotel made the beach experience very enjoyable and we will definitely return to this hotel next time we are in Cape May ."

"The inn reminds me of a converted brownstone. The room we stayed in was okay. It had a lot of light, large bed, normal bathroom. But it didn’t have a full length mirror even though it had plenty of wall space for that. It also looked like the walls were painted over multiple times- like a ny city apartment. I enjoyed the inn, it had a restaurant with live music and a mini convenient store that was always open by the front desk. The location is central to the beach and the Washington street mall. I just think the price is expensive for what you are getting- but it’s what all the hotels are charging- so they are in the range. Staff was extremely helpful and nice. One of the hostesses we wound up seeing the next day working in the fudge shop. Quaint town."

"Location was excellent! Across the street from the beach, beautiful views of the water and walking distance to shops, restaurants church and grocery store. Staff was friendly and professional. Food at the hotel restaurant was delicious and fresh and the drinks at the pool side bar were excellent. Would definitely stay here again!"

"I booked this for my elderly father and his buddy. I booked 2 seperate rooms on Expedia. Once they got to the hotel, the nice man at the desk cancelled that booking and rebooted it. It seems he may have gotten him a better deal, possibly because the resort tax was higher on Expedia than it actually was at the hotel. So that was very honest of him for doing that and helping my father and friend! They said the hotel was not really near the beach, but they weren't beach going anyways."
