The place is clean, as it has been remodeled and is in a nice location to be able to walk to the beach. However, the advertisement of bed size in one of the rooms was falsely advertised. When we booked this house, the listing said it had 2 queens and 1 king bed in each room. The only reason we picked this house was because the beds were queen size or larger with three adult couples. We wanted all of the guests to be comfortable. When we arrived, we quickly realized that one room had only a full size bed. When I asked the PM about this, their response was that it was an “honest mistake”. They offered to bring over an aero bed or let us rebook somewhere else. I didn’t feel like that was fair compensation simply because putting any aerobed in the middle of the common area (only place it would fit) wouldn’t allow my guests the opportunity for any privacy. As far as finding another place to stay- we’re on vacation and didn’t want to spend the morning calling around during the weekend. I asked for a 30% refund (⅓ of our party wasn’t happy as one person had to sleep on the coach), and I was granted 10% with the response “we think this is adequate for a few inches”. On top of “the honest mistake,” when we came in from a walk and tried to turn on the fireplace -it didn’t work. The PM changed the batteries... and it still did not work. Another thing, the downstairs shower, if you’re tall, you need to bend down to get under the water. Furthermore, it isn’t stated in the listing, but in order to get to the downstairs bathroom a person needs to walk through the other bedroom- a little awkward late at night or early morning. Finally, the upstairs shower had severe drainage problems- a person was standing in a pool of water while showering. I wouldn’t recommend this listing, unless corrected, and definitely not the property management company to anyone.
