For starters, the pictures do not do this hotel justice - it is stunning! It is in a beautiful location surrounded by quaint walkways just beyond the square which has an array of designer shops, restaurants, etc, so everything you need is close by. As for the property, the staff was so so amazing!! Everyone was very kind and extremely accommodating. I felt very welcomed at all times. In fact, I was on vacation for my birthday and the staff went absolutely above and beyond to make it a special night for me and I am sincerely appreciative! The only thing that was a slight bummer, was not getting to utilize the transportation service, but I guess there must have been a miscommunication, but definitely not enough of an issue to bother me. Truthfully, as an avid traveler who consistently deals with discovering new hotels and enjoys doing so, I don't think I would ever try to find a different hotel to stay at while in Capri. Highly highly recommend!!!

Hotel overall was wonderful , clean , safe and easy access from downtown capri - the only thing I would say is that the breakfast buffet was very minimal - didn’t have many options , it’s more like a simple bed and breakfast but staff are super polite, friendly and clean

Oh my god, BOOK THIS HOTEL. I don't care what your other options are, nothing is more gorgeous, serene, and perfect than Hotel Mamela. From the staff, to the rooms, to the infinity pool overlooking the ocean...I cannot stress enough how immaculate and perfect this property is. The property is situated away from the central buzz but 10 minute walk to anything you need. Hotel Mamela made us fall in love with Capri and we will be back!

This was our first trip to Italy, and a friend had recommended Capri. We tacked it onto the end of our stay and we definitely saved the best for last! AMAZING is all I can say, and our hotel was stunning

The perfect stay at a great hotel at a reasonable for Capri price. Relaxed but attentive service with a gorgeous view from the pool and the room. Walkable to the main piazza with shops and dining. Front desk staff is helpful with reservations for ferry, restaurants and more. Breakfast is great with delicious coffee. Looking forward to returning.

Wow wow wow what can I say about this beautiful hotel. I’m not quite sure how it isn’t rated 5 stars. Hotel Mamela is hands down one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. The views are amazing, the staff is very friendly. I highly highly recommend booking your stay with hotel Mamela. I cannot wait to return, it’s perfection.

where do we even start? we booked 5 days at the Hotel Mamela in May for our Honeymoon this year and we could not have picked a better property for this special trip. the staff where extremely helpful and knowledgeable about where to eat and what to do on the island, the breakfast was out of this world with all of the home baked pastries and cakes! the pool area was beautiful and so well kept along with more exceptional staff! already dreaming about our next stay here hopefully same time next year! don't hesitate just book it, thank you hotel Mamela love Mr & Mrs Rongione x

From checkin to checkout was great for us. Nice little hotel. Short walk to shopping and taxi pick up area. Staff, super accommodating and always greeted with a smile - all staff. When we return to Capri, will try to stay here again.
